Pounds of Tobaccoe and such Press Masters who shalbe doe
Nominated & appointed as aforesd by such Precept as aforesaid to
him or them Directed and shall thereupon Refuse or Neglect
to serve and Duely and truly to Execute and performe the said place
and office of press Master shall forfiet & pay unto the R.t Honoble
the Lord Prop.ry for Every time hence[?] they soe Nominated & appointed
as aforesaid shall refuse or Neglect to serve as aforesaid the
summ of five hundred pounds of Tobaccoe And for the more and
better Encoragm.ts of such souldiers as shall in time of Warr
venture in the service of the Cuntry and Defence therof Agst
any Indians Bee it Enacted by the authority aforesaid that the
free Booty Prise Pillage or Plunder or any Indian ^seized or^ taken Prisoner
shall by the Commander be Equally Distributed and Divided Amoungst
the souldiers by a Division and Distribution to be made by the Poll
and for the Encouragm.t of such souldiers as shall adventure
there Lives in the service and Defence of the Province and for
a Provission of some reasonable pention to be for the future
setled on such souldiers as shall happend to be maimed and rendred
uncapable to get a Livelyhood for themselves & families Bee it
Enacted by the authority aforesaid that Every person that shall
Adventure as a souldier in any warr in defence of this Province
and shall therin happen to be Maimed or receive hurt soe as he
therby be rendred Incapable of geting a Livelyhood as aforesaid
shall according to his disability receive a yearly Pention to be
raised out of the Publick Leavy of this province for the time
of such his Disability and Every person staine in the service
of the Province and Leaving behind him a wife & children such
wife & children shall allsoe be allowed a Competent pention the
wife Dureing her widdowhood and the children till they be of years
able to get there Liveings or be put out Apprentices and that
this pention be yearly paid and allowed out of the Fifty Thousand
pds of Tobaccoe p anum to be raised by the R.t honoble the Lord
Prop.ry or his L.tt Gen.ll and councell as in this act is after pvided
in the Intervalles of Assembly the pty Peticoning for such
