Elizabeth Ricard Ex.rx of the Last will & testem.t of
Benj.a Ricard was sumoned to ans.r Henry Feavor
in a plea y.t she render unto him Seventeen hundred
thirty four pds of tobacco w.ch from him she unjustly
Deteneth

And the s.d Henry by William Harriss his attorny complaineth
and saith y.e the s.d Benj.a Ricard y.e Testator in his Life time
the two & twentieth day of Aprill 1684 did by his
certain writing under the hand of him the s.d Benjam
cause himself to be bound to him y.e s.d Henry in the full
sume of Seventeen hundred thirty four pounds of tobacco
w.ch the s.d Benj.a the testator nor Elizabeth the Ex.rx
the afores.d sume hath not rendered but the Same to pay
hath denyed and as yet doth deny to the damage of the
s.d Henry Feaver two thousand pounds of tobacco and
thereupon he bringeth this Sute    Harriss p q

And the s.d Eliz.a in her pper person comes and defendeth
the force and Injury to and for plea saith that the said
Henry his accon ag.t her ought not to have for y.t She
was not at that time of takeing out the Originall writt she
not Admitted Ex.rx of y.e s.d Deceased & of this she Demand:
Judgment of this worshipfull Courtt & y.e plt Lickwise Harris

The Courtt haveing Considered y.e Issue Joyned & finding y.e
Letters testamentery on y.e Deceaseds will was granted to
y.e Deft before y.e pltefs originall writt Issued forth Doe
award Judgment for y.e plt for seventeen hundred thirty
four pounds of tobacco & Cost of suite &c

Therefore it is Considered by this Courtt that y.e s.d Henry
Fevor shall Recover from y.e Deft out of y.e Estate of y.e
Deceased the sum of seventeen hundred thirty & four pounds
of tobacco Debt & Cost of suit &c
