840 Att a Court held for Kent County the 25.th day of Jan.ry in the Ninth Yeare of the Reigne of William the Third of England &c.a Annoq Dom 1697
It being Extraordinary hard and Frosty Weather & Impossible for the Inhabitants on the south side of Chester River to come over without hazarding their lives it is therfore Ordered that this Court be Adjourned to the Third Tuesday in Feb.ry And allsoe that all process Issued and all Recognizance taken before any his Maj.ties Justices for this County be returnable the aforesd Third Tuesday in Feb.ry and all persons therin concerned are hereby Warned to make their personal appearance on the sd Third Tuesday in Feb.ry Proclamacon hereof is accordingly made by the Cryer S Wilmer Clk Att a Court held for Kent County the 15.th day of Feb.ry in the Ninth Yeare of King William the Third Annoq Dom 1697
The sheerif produceing to this Court a Writt of Elecon for The Choosing of Four Burgesses or deligates for this County Ordered by this Court that Monday Next be appointed For Choosing the sd Burgesses and that publick Proclamacon therof be made and sett up att the most Publick places in this County |
