be found in his Bailiwick and him safe Keepe soe that he have

John Hawkins of a plea of Trespasse upon the Case

Att which Court viz the 28.th day of September Anno Dom 1697
the day of returne of sd Writt came Cap.t Edward Sweatnam high
sheerif of sd County and made Returne of sd Writt in these
words    Cepi Corpus p Edw Sweatnam sheft

On which sd day the sd Defend.t in his proper person appeares but
the Plt by Richard Macklin his Attorney moves this Court that the
sd Charles Webb find Especial bail to the said Accon which is by
this Court Accordingly Ordered

And now here att this day viz the 24.th day of August Anno
Dom 1697 the sd cause pending for Tryal came the sd Plt
by his said Att.ry and Declr viz
