Dowers title of Dowers and all other titles troubles Charges or Demands and
incumbrances what so ever y.e Rents & Services which henceforth from time
to time shall grow Dew and payable to the Chieff Lord of the Fee for or in
Respect of his signory or signiority only Excepted and Foreprized and
further y.e s.d William Thomas for himselfe his heirs executors and
administrators shall and will from time to time Duering the space of
Seven yeares next ensueing y.e Date of these p.rmises at and upon the
reasonable Requests and all y.e Proper Cost in y.e Law of them y.e s.d Daniell
Kelly & William Sheell their heirs or assignes make suffer or Cause to
be made & suffered knowledged & Performed all & every such further
Lawfull & Reasonable act & acts thing and things Device & Devices
Assurance & assurances & Convayances in the Law what so ever for
the better and more perfectt assurance and sure makeing & Convaying
y.e above bargaines p.rmises with their & every of their Rights members
Members & appurtenances or by any other way or meanes what soever
as by y.e s.d Daniell Kelly & William Sheell or by their Counsell
Learned in y.e Law shall be advissed evissed or Required in Wittness
whereof y.e parties above named have to these Indentures Interchangably
Sett their hands & Seales y.e Day & yeare above writtes
Signed Sealled & Delivered
in p.rsents off

Know all men by these p.rsents That I William Thomas of Kent County in y.e
province of Maryland Plant.r am holden & firmly bound unto Daniell Kelly
and William Sheell boath of them of y.e afores.d County & Province planters
the fill Just sume or quantity of eighteen thousand pounds of good sound
well Condissioned Merchantable tobacco & Caske to be payed to y.e s.d Daniell
Kelly & William Sheell to them or either of them their heirs executors
administrators or assignes to the which payment to be truly or add & payed
I doe binde me my heirs executors administrators or assignes Firmly by
these p.rsents signed w.th my hand & sealed w.th my seale Dated y.e Fourteenth
of July in y.e tenth yeare of the Dominion of Charles Ann q Dom 1685

The Condition of this obligation is such that whereas the above bound
William Thomas by his Certaine Deed bearing Date w.th these p.rsents
for the Consideration therein expressed have bargained and sould
unto y.e above named Daniell Kelly & William Sheell their heirs &
assignes or a parcell of land Called Kedgerston Lying on Langfords bay
in y.e County of Kent afores.d to have & to hold to them the s.d Daniell
Kelly & William Sheell their heirs and assignes for ever w.th warrant
against all persons whatsoever as by the s.d Deed doth more at
large appear & therefore y.e s.d William Thomas his heirs executors
