Judgment for the sume of Eleaven hundred & Eighty
poundes of Tobaccoe and a halfe

Therfore it is considered by this Court that the Plaint
Michael Miller doe recover from the Defend.t Robert
Davenish the sume of One thowsand One hundred and
Eighty poundes of Tobaccoe and a halfe with cost of
suit

Greeting Wee Command You that You sum William North if to
be found in Your Bailiwick soe that he be and appeare before our
Justices att our Next Court to be held for our said County the
Foworth Tuesday of this Instant June to shew cause if any he
have why Execucon should not Issue against him for four
hundred and Forty four poundes of Tobaccoe being soe much due
from him to Simon Wilmer for Clerkes Fees hereof You are
not to fail and have You ther this Writt Wittnesse William Frisby
Gent Cheif Justice of our sd Court this 4.th day of June in the
8.th Yeare of our Reigne Annoq Dom 1696

saith that for the Manifold imperfections of the said
writt and Matter therin contained the sd defend.t by the Lawes
of the Land is not nor cannot be bound to Answer which he is
ready to Aver Wherupon the Defend.t demands Judgm.t of the
Writt aforsd Hemsley p Defend.t And the said defend.t by
William Hemsly his Attorny upon the Returne of the Writt
prayed he might have until this Court for fileing his
Reason which was accordingly ordered
