M.r Edward Rush of Kent County otherwaise called
Edward Rush of Kent County Planter standeth Attached
to Answer William Deerty of a plea of Debt &c.a

Therupon William Deerty by Griffith Jones his Attorny complaineth
whereas the aforesaid Edward Rush One and
twentieth day of December Anno 1694 by his Bill writt
to the said William Deerty with the seale of the aforesaid
Edward Rush signed here brings into Court whose date
is the same day and year did acknowlidg himselfe to
owe to the aforesaid William Deerty One good Cow and
calfe by her side the said Cow to be with her second or
third calfe and to be delivered as aforesaid att or upon
the last day of May next after the date hereof or att any
time after the said last day of May and before the tenth of
June next after to which payment well and truely to be
made or donn he the aforesaid Edward Rush did oblige
himselfe his Heirs Exectrs and adm by the said Bill
notwithstanding the aforesaid Edward Rush altho often
demanded the aforesaid Cow and calfe he hath not yet
delivered but the same to deliver as yett doth denie whereof
upon the said Doorty sayth he is damnified Eighteene
hundred pounds of tobaccoe and therupon he bringeth
this suit
