his Attorny declaring viz

Kent fs  Samuel Manthorpe als dict Samuel Manthorpe
of Kent County Taylor Adm of all and singuler the
goods &c.a of Robert Burman of Kent County deceased
stands Attached to Answer unto William Harris of a
plea that he render unto him the sume of Twenty &
six poundes Eight shillings and six pence sterl which
from him he deteineth

Whereupon the said William Harris by Charles Basse
his Attorney complaineth and saith that the said Robert
Burman in his life time stood justly indebted unto him
the said William Harris in the full and just sume of
Twenty and six poundes Eight shillings and six pence
sterl money of England to be paid to the said William
Harris his Heires Execut.rs Adm or any of them for
performance wherof the said Robert Burman did bind
himselfe his Heires Execut.rs and Adm Joyntly and severally
as by a certaine bond under this hand and seale of the said
Robert and as his Act and Deed delivered bearing date the
the seaventh day of May An.o 1689 and here in Court
brought more largely may appeare which said sume
of 26.ll 8.s 6.d as aforesaid he the said Robert in his life time
did not pay nor Yett the said Samuel since the Death of him
the said Robert alltho often demanded hath not paid
but the same to pay and satisfie hath hitherto
                                                             denied
