W.m Stanly of Kent County Carpenter am
holden & firmly bound unto Morgan Jones
of y.e same County planter y.e full & Just sum
of fourteene thousand pounds of good sound
merchantable tobaco & Caske to be paid to y.e
s.d Morgan Jones his heirs Exct.rs & Admt.rs or
any or either of them for true performance
whereof I binde myselfe my heirs Exct.rs Admt.rs
Joyntly & severally in y.e whole & for y.e whole
firmly by these presents sealed with my seale
& dated this 10.th day of November in y.e fourth year
of their maj.ties Reigne An.o 1692


The Condition of y.e above obligation is such y.t if the
above bound W.m Stanly doe & shall from time to time
& at all times hereafter well & truly observe perform fulfill
& keep all & singular y.e covenants grants promises & agreements
which or y.e part & behalfe of y.e s.d W.m Stanly are & ought
to be observed performed & kept contained & specified in one
Indenture of bargane & sale made betweene y.e s.d W.m
Stanly of y.e one part & Morgan Jones of y.e other part
bearing even date with these presents according to the
true intent & meaning of y.e s.d Indenture that then this
present obligation to be voide & of none effect or else to Remaine
in full force & vertue in law
