This Indenture made the twenty fourth day of Novembr
in y.e yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred ninety &
one & in the tnth yeare of y.e Reigne of our sovereigne Lord &
Lady King William & Queene Mary & Betweene William
Foreman & Elizabeth his wife of Anrandell County of the
Province of Maryland of y.e one pty & Lewis Derechbourn of the
same County & province of the other part Witneseth that the s.d
William Foreman & Elizabeth his wife for & in Consideration
of the sum of nine thousand pounds of tobb undertaken & secured
to be well & truly pd by y.e s.d Lewis Derochbourne to y.e s.d W.m
Foreman at or before the Ensealing & Delivery of these p.rsents
the receipt whereof y.e s.d William Foreman doth hereby acknowledg
& confess & for divers others Good causes & considerations him y.e s.d W.m
Foreman & Elizabeth his wife thereunto moveing hath Given Granted
Barganed solde Alienated enfeoffed & Confirmed & by these p.rsents
doth fully freely & absolutely give grant bargan sell alienate enfeoffe
& confirme unto y.e s.d Lewis Deroachbourn his heirs & assignes forever
all that parcell or tract of Land Called y.e friendship in y.e County of
Kent neare y.e head of a Creek called Tarkell Creek begining at a marked
Chesnut tree being a bounded tree of the widow Connies her land called
Tarkill & runing down y.e s.d Creeke one hundred perches to a marked
Red oake bounded on y.e north side a Creek called Cabbin Creek & from
the s.d Creek oake for length y.e said Creeke to a line south west three
hundred & twenty perches to y.e Land Called Cabbin neck & then northwest
till it intersect with y.e land of deliverance Lovly then northeast
to y.e first bounded tree Containing & now laid out for two hundred
acres be it more or less Which fore barganed premises togather
with all woods underwoods water water Courses rights priviledges
desents Commoditys Hereditaments & apurtenances whatsoever to the s.d
barganed premises belonging or anywise apertaining & all y.e Estate
Right title & interest claime & demand whatsoever of him y.e s.d W.m
Foreman & Elizabeth his wife of in & to y.e s.d barganed premises &
all pattents Evidences Escripts minuments & writeings touching
or any waye concerning y.e s.d barganed premises with y.e Reverson
& Reversions Remainder & Remainders of all & singular the before
barganed premises To have and to hold the s.d Barganed
premises with the apurtenances thereto belonging unto y.e s.d
Lewis Deroachbourn his heirs & assignes & to y.e proper use & behoofe
of him y.e s.d Lewis Deroachbourn his heirs & assignes & to
the proper use & behoofe of him the s.d Lewis Deroachbourn his heirs
and assigns for ever And the s.d W.m Foreman & Elizabeth his wife
doth hereby grant for themselves & their heirs that they & their heirs
the s.d barganed premises with y.e apurtenances to y.e same belonging
unto y.e s.d Lewis Deroachbourne his heirs & assignes against him the
s.d W.m Foreman & Elizabeth his wife & their heirs & all & every
other person or persons whatsoever Lawfully Claiming any Estate
Right title or intrest of in or to y.e s.d barganed premises or any part
thereof shall & will warrant & for one by these p.rsents defend y.e same
and y.e s.d W.m Foreman & Elizabeth his wife doe hereby for themselves
their heirs Exct.rs & Admt.rs Covenant & agree to and the s.d Lewis
Deroachbourn his heirs Ext.rs Administrators & assigns by these p.rsents
