309 This Indenture Made this Seaventh day of September In y.e second y.r of the Reigne of our sovereigne Lord & Lady William & Mary King and Queen of England Scottland France & Gerland and in the y.r of our Lord Christ one thousand six hundred and Ninty Between William Hubbard & Elizabeth his Wife of the County of Kent in y.e Province of Mary Land of the one pte and Rice Jones of the afforesd County & Province Planter of the other pte Wittnesseth y.t the sd William Hubbard & Elizabeth his wife for and In consideracon of the sum of Nine Thousand five hundred pounds of Tob To them in hand att or before y.e Sealing & delivery of these p.rsents by the s.d Rice Jones well & truely pd the receite whereof the s.d William Hubbard doth herby acknowledge & themselves therewith fully Satisfied and pd and therof & every pte or parcell thereof doth Clearly acquitt Exonerate and discharge y.e s.d Rice Jones his Heires Execut.rs & Administ.rs and for divers good Causes & Consideration the s.d William and Elizabeth her to Easpecially Moving Have given granted alliened Bargained sold Enfeoffed & Confirmed and by these p.rsents doth fully Clearly and absolutely give grant Aliened bargain sold Enfeoff and confirme unto the s.d Rice Jones his Heires and assignes for Ever all y.e pcell or Tract of Land Containing two hundred acres being pte of a tract of Land Layd out for four hundred Acres called the Grace y.e sayd Two hundred Acres of Land being purchased by the s.d William Hubbard of Cornelious Comiggys Ju & Mary his Wife as by declaration being herun[to] had may att Large appear the s.d Land Lying and being In Kent County on the |
