This Indenture made this Nineteenth day of Mary in the twelfe yeare
of y.e Dominion of y.e Right Hon.rble Charles Absoelute Lord & proprietary
of y.e provinces of Maryland & Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore and
in the yeare of our Lord Christ one thousand six hundred Eighty and
seaven one and Between Michael Miller of y.e County of Kent planter
of y.e one parte and William Pearle of y.e same County planter of y.e other
parte Witnesseth that hee y.e said Michael Miller doth for & in Consideration
of y.e sum of fiftine thousand pounds of good tobbaco to him when payd
att or before y.e Ensealing & delivery of these p.rsents the receipt whereof
y.e sayd Michael Miller doth acknowledg himselve fully satisfyed and
Contented and payd and thereof and of Every part or percell thereof
doth Exonerate Aquitt and Dischardge y.e said William Pearle his
heires Ex.r Adm.r & Assignes for Ever hath Bargained sold Enfeoffed
and Confirmed and doth by these presants bargaine sell Alniate
Enffeoffe & Confirme unto y.e said William pearle his heires & Assignes
for Ever all that tract or percell of Land being parte of A tract of Land lyeing
in Kent County and in A bay Called Langfords bay begining att a bounded
tree of A parsell of Land belonging to Richard Hudler being y.e upper bounded
tree of y.e said Hudsons Land and runing upp y.e said bay for Breadth fifty
perches from them north west foure hundred for Length & from y.e End
of y.e north west Line south west fifty perches untill itt intersects y.e said
Hudsons Land & thence along the said Hudsons Land to y.e first bounded
tree Contayning one hundred twenty five Acres by y.e same more or
Less together withall & singular y.e Rights members jurisdictions priviledges
or proffitts thereunto beloning or in any wise Apertayning
withall deeds wrightings Evidences & Manuscripts touching or in any
wise Concerning y.e same To have and to hold the said tract or percell
of Land withall and singular the Above bargained premisses unto him
y.e said william pearle his heires and Assignes for Ever and y.e said
Michael Miller doth for himselfe his heires Ex.r or Adm.r hereby
Covenant promise to and with y.e said William pearle his heires
or Assignes that hee y.e said Michael Miller his heires Ex.r Adm.r or
assignes the said tract or persell of Land w.th all & singular y.e before
Bargained premises unto him y.e said william pearle his heires Ex.r
or Assignes shall and will att all times hereafter for Ever warrant
and defend from all manner of persons Layeing any Clame right
or title thereunto the rents & services due unto y.e Lord proprietary
only Excepted & foreprized In testymony whereof I doe hereunto
subscribe my name & fix my seale y.e day & yeare above written
