 Whereas Edward James being sumoned to appeare
and shew Cause why hee appeared not as he ought
as Constable when Called and the said James app.ring
and not shewing any sufficient reason or cause
This Court Orders that the said Edward James bee
fine One Thousand pounds of Tobacco according to
Law In which Case made & provided
                                                          Tho Joce Clk

Whereas a Comission being sent up for Richard Jones
to Officiate the office of Corroner of this County hee is
accordingly sworne haveing first taken the oath of
fidelity
                                                          Tho Joce Clk

This Court doth appoint Lewis Meridith bee Constable
In y.e place of Richard Jones for this Ensueing yeare for
the upper hundred of Kent Island

This Court doth appoint Richard Kinstone to bee
Constable In the place of Edward James for this Ensueing
yeare for the Locor hundred of Kent Island

Hanah Robberts being bound by Recognizance to make
her personall appeareance unto this Court and for the
meane time to bee of good abearance & behaviour
she haveing a Bastard Child shee appeareing and
obstinately to Declare the father of the said
Basterd Child This Court orders the sherriffe to lay
well thirty Lashes on her bare backe and keepe her
In his Custody untill further Orders
