This Indenture made y.e 21.th of June in y.e second yeare
of y.e Dominion of Charles absolute Lord & Proprietary
of y.e Province of Maryland & Avalon Lord Baron of
Baltemore & in y.e yeare of our Lord one Thousand six
seventy And seven on & Between John Meggison of
County of Kent Clarke of the Province of Maryland
of y.e one partt And Richard Fetherston of y.e City of London
in y.e Kingdom of England Chiurgon one y.e other partt

Wittnesseth That he y.e s.d John Meggison In Consideration
of y.e sum of sixteen hundred pounds of tobaccoe and Caske
to him in hand paied at or before y.e Ensealing & Delivering
of these p.rsents the Receipt Whereof y.e s.d John Meggison
Doth Acknowledg himselfe there with Fully satesfied
Contented & paied & thereof and of every part and percell
thereof Doth fully Clearely & Absolutely Exonarate
quit & Discharge y.e s.d Richard Fetherston his heirs ex.rs
Administrators & Assignes for ever by these p.rsents hath
given granted bargained & sold Alinated Enfeoffed and
Confirmed And by these p.rsents Doth Fully Clearly and
Absolutely give grant bargain sell Alinate Enfeoffe &
Confirme unto him y.e s.d Richard Fetherston his heirs
Administrators & Assignes all that Parcell or tract of
Land Containing fifty acres situated And Lying and being
in y.e Island of Kent & on y.e Creek Called Coxs Creek bound
on y.e North w.th y.e Plantation of Marke Benson and on y.e south
w.th y.e Plantation of John Meconikin to gather w.th all & singuler
y.e Rights & bernifits thereunto belonging And also all y.e pattents
Deeds Writting Evidence Manuscript Touching or in Any
wise Concerning y.e Premises or partt or parcell thereof
w.th all & singuler y.e Rights Members Jurisdicttions [illegible]
& Profitts or benifits thereunto belonging or any partt apertaining
To have & to hold y.e s.d percell of Land w.th all & singuler y.e
fore bargained p.rmisses unto him y.e s.d Richard Fetherston his
