180 Given under the seale of our said Office the fourth day of May And In the Eleaventh yeare of the Dominion of the R.t hono.ble Charles &c.a Annoq Dom 1686 M.r Mich Turbutt Admitted and sworne Clerke viz.t You shall well and truely sweare that you are Clerk of this County you shall keepe true and faithfull Records of and well and truely preserve and safely keepe all Acts Lawes and Papers that as Clerke of this Court is Comitted to yo.r care and Trust You shall doe noe Injury wrong or Injustice to any person whatsoever by meanes or under Collor of yo.r Office Either for Feare favour Afection or hope of Reward butt shall faithfully and truely serve the Lord Prop.rys In this County in the office of Clerk to the said Court to the best of yo.r knowledge Witt and Cuning Soe long as you shall bee Continued in the aforesaid office of Clerk In this County Soe Help you God M.r Edward Sweatnam preforming a Peticon to this Court for Continuance In the office of sherriff It is the Oppinion of this Court that M.r Edward Sweatnam Continue sheriff of This County for the Yeare Ensueing They haveing nothing to object against him A Jury Impaneled to Inquire what Orphan & have not bee lookt after by their severall Masters Dames or Guardians unto whome such Orphan or Orphans from time to time have been Comitted In order to their keeping the said Orphans to schoole or to Trades at the Case In such bases proved The Jury being Called and sworne viz.t Phillip Everett foreman
