154 This Indenture made this twenty third Day of March In the Eleventh Yeare of the Dominion of the Right Honoble Charles Absolute Lord & prop.ry of the provinces of Maryland & avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore And In the yeare of our Lord One thousand Six hundred Eighty five Betweene John Mitchell of the county of Talbott planter of the one parte & Michaell Miller of the county of Kent of the other parte Witnesseth that he the s.d John Mitchell for & in Concideracon of the Sume of Six thousand pounds of tobaccoe to him in hand payd at or before the Ensealing & Delivery of these presents by Michaell Miller the receite whereof the s.d John Mitchell doth acknowledge himself fully Satisfied contented & payd And thereof not being parte & parcell thereof doth fully clearly & absolutely Exonorate acquite & discharge the s.d Michaell Miller his heires Executors & Adminis.rs for Ever Doth by these psents Bargaine sell alienate Conffess & confirme unto the s.d Michaell Miller his heires & assignes for Ever all that parcell of Land Lying & being in Kent County called or Known by the name of Chelines Delight containing one hundred Eight Eight Acres being parte of a tract of Land called Crazy Neck contayning four hundred acres formerly granted unto Hugh Leigh & Hanah his wife the Relict of Robert Huett by Pattent bearing date the thirtieth day of October One thousand Six hundred fifty one and remaining upon recvrd in the Secretarys office w.ch s.d Land was Lately in the tenure & ocupacon of Franciss Lumber Late of Kent Island decsd Bounding on The South with the Land of Thomas Hill One the west with Chesepeake Bay on the North w.th the Land of Edward Comminer one the East w.th Kent path Together w.th all & singuler the rights & Benifitts |
