London Marmo.r in A plea of trespass upon y.e Case

And whereupon y.e s.d Phineas Hide by Robertt Smith his Attorny Complaineth
and saith that Ann Randall Under Couertt by nor Certaine bill or writting
Dated y.e eighteenth Day of August 1685 from under hand of her the s.d Ann
Did acknowledg to owe & be Indebted unto y.e s.d Phineas Hide or his Assignes
the Just sume of fiveteen Pounds Sterling Inglish mony upon Demand nothwithstanding
y.e s.d Ann: did not pay y.e Afores.d sume nor y.e s.d Benjamin in his afd times Did not
Pay y.e sume of fiveteen pounds sterling afores.d as he ought to have Done nor y.e
s.d Ann & Joseph in their s.d Capacity since y.e Death of him y.e s.d Bejamin hath
not Payed but y.e same to pay hath hetherto Deimed & still Doth Deme to y.e Damage
of him y.e s.d Phineas Hide belies y.e Debt one thousand six hundred pounds of
tobacco: & thereupon he bringeth his suite

Memorand that I Ann Randall wife unto Benja Randall of Maryland Doe other sedge
to owe & be Indebted unto Phineas Hide or his Assignes the sume of fiveteen pounds
sterling Inglish mony w.ch I promise to pay unto y.e s.d Phineas Hide or his Assignes
upon Demand Wittness my hand this Eighteenth Day of August Anno Dom 1685
