360                            March Court 1727

    Yet notwithstand the afd John Ambrose now here at this Court
to wit the third tues^day^ of March being the ninteenth Day of said
month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred twenty & seven came the afd
John Ambrose in his pper pson & relinquishing his Averm.t afd
by him above pleaded & thereupon Cometh the afd John Ambrose
in his pp.r pson & Saith that he cannot gainsay the Information
afd so as afd against him brought nor but that he is guilty of the
alledged & thereupon Submits to the Court

    Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at
the Court house in the Town of Chester in said County this ninteenth
Day of March Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred twenty & seven
That the afd afd said right Honble the Lord prop.ry that now is, do
recover against the afd John Ambrose the sum of One Shilling
Sterl money as a fine for his offence afd in form afd Confesed
According to the force form & Effect of the Law in such Case
made & pvided & also it Considered that the said John Ambrose
pay the sum of three hundred ^twenty Six^ pounds of tobacco Costs accruing on the
ppses afd to the officers of this Court &c.a

in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court One Saddle
of the value of three hundred pounds of Tob.o & One bridle of the
Value of thirty pounds of tob.o of the goods and Chattles of a Certain
Edward Beck then and there being found then and there feloniously
did Steal take & bear away Contrary to the peace of the said
Lord Propry that now is his good rule and Government & against
the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Case lately made & pvided
