at the Court house in the Town of Chester in s.d County on y.e twentyeth Day
of June and Continued the twenty first twenty Second and twenty third days
of the Same Month in y.e twelth year of y.e Dominion of Charles Absolute
Lord and prop.ry of the provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of
Baltemore &c.a Anno Dom 1727

    Kent County fs.t Memorandum that Tench Francis Gent Attorney of the Right
Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry that now is for the County afd who for the Same Lord
prop.ry in his part prosecuteth Doth Come here into Kent County Court before
before Lambert Wilmer Esq.r and his Associates his s.d Lordships Justices of
the Same County to wit at Chester Town in the County afd the twenty first Day
of March Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred twenty and Six and for the Same
Lord prop.ry Doth give the Court here to understand and be Informed that
William Coursey of Saint pails parish in Kent County afd planter the
tenth Day of Aprill Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred twenty and Six at the
parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court did Commit
fornication with a Certain Alice Brown and then and there did beget a Bastard
Child on the Body of her the same Alice to the high Displeasure of
Almighty God to the Evill Example of all others in Such Case offending
Contrary to the peace of the s.d Lord prop.ry that now is his good Rule and
Government and against the form of y.e act of Assembly in Such
