255 That the Sherr of Kent County take the afd Susannah Skeebo into his Custody and Execute the Lashes in the Judgm.t afd specefied and afterward bring her into Court again. Of which said precept the said Sherr to wit John Gresham Gent high Sherr of Kent County makes return on the Day & Year last said that he hath Executed the said Judgment And also hath here the said Ordered by the Court here that the said Susannah Skeebo pay the sum of twelve hundred pounds of Tobacco to M.r Frederick Hanson for the trouble and disgrace of his house in bringing her to bed and for Maintaining the Child in the Indictment afd Specefied Ordered that the Sherr of Kent County do Sell her the said Susannah Skeebo for the afd twelve hundred pounds of Tobacco and the ffees in the Judgment afd Specefied at the Expiration of her present Servitude she being now a Servant to a Certain Fred.k Hanson of Kent County afd Gentleman
now at this Court the said Edward appearing Ordered that his Recognizance & his Suretys Recognizances be discharged Edward Harris of Queen Anns County Gent at last Court as afd acknowledged himself Indebted unto the Lord propry of this province of Maryland In the sum of thirty pounds Sterling money of great Brittain to be Leveyed of his goods and Chattles Lands and tenement Conditionally that if he should not make his personall appearance before the Justices of our next County Court to be held at Our Court house in the Town of Chester in said County On the third Tuesday of March next to answer unto An Information found against him for Extortion And in the mean time to be of good behaviour And now ^to wit on y.e twenty first Day of March Anno Dom 1726^ the said Edward Harris having appeared his Recognizance is discharged also Laughlin Flinn and Gideon Pearce both of Kent County planters at last November Court as afd acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the Lord propry of this province of Maryland in the sum of fifteen pounds Sterl each to be Leveyed &c.a Conditionally that if the afd Edward Harris should not make his personall appearance before the Justices of our next County Court to be held as afd to Answer unto An Inform.n found against him for Extortion and in the mean time to be of good behaviour And now ^to wit on y.e twenty first Day of March Anno Dom 1726^ the said Edward having appeared the said Laughlin |
