March Court 1726/7 And Dignity &c.a Wherefore the same Attorney of the said Lord propry for the said Lord propry prayeth the Advice of the Court here in the premisses And due process of Law in this part to be made against the afd Sarah to Answer to the said Lord propry of and upon the premisses &c.a T francis Cler. pac. And the afd Tench Francis Attry of the said Lord propry Cometh and saith that for as much as he hath not Evidence Sufficient to maintain the afd Charge in the Information afd specefied against the said Sarah Mannen he will not prosecute the same Information any further Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at the Court house in the Town of Chester in Kent County this twenty first Day of March Anno Dom seventeen hundred twenty and six that the afd Sarah Mannen as to the Information afd she go thereof without Day and be there from acquitted Also it is Considered that the said Sarah Mannen pay the sum of two hundred Eighty and three ^pounds of Tob.o^ accruing on the premisses afd to the Officers of this Court Jam.s Smith Clk Gideon Pearce of Kent County Gent at last Court having Entered into Recognizance for the afd Sarah Mannens appearance to this Court the said Sarah Mannen having appeared Ordered that his Recognizance be discharged Gideon Pearce of Kent County afd Gentleman at last November Court acknowledged himself Indebted unto the Lord propry of this province of Mar^y^land in the sum of five pounds Currency to be Leveyed on his goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements for the use of his said Lordship his heirs & Successors Conditionally that if the afd Sarah Mannen should not make her personall ^appearance^ before the Justices of our next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Kent County afd on the third Tuesday of March then next following and in the mean time to be of good behaviour And now here to wit on the third Tuesday of March the said Sarah Mannen having appeared his Recognizance is discharged
the said writt was directed makes return thereof to this Court here on the third Tuesday of March being the twenty first Day of said Month Anno Dom Seventeen hundred twenty & six the day of return of said writt Endorst as foll viz.t Cepi Corpus p Jn.o Gresham Sherr Kent |
