return thereof to this Court here On the fifteenth Day of November Anno Dom.
seventeen hundred & twenty Six the Day of return of said writt Endorst as foll
viz.t
                                                                            Cepi Corpus p John Gresham Sherrf

    Kent County fs.t Memorandum that Tench Francis Gentl Attorney of the Right
Honourable the Lord Proprietary that now is for the County afd who for the same
Lord proprietary in this part prosecuteth doth Come here into his said Lordships County
Court before Lambert Wilmer Esq.r and his Associates his said Lordships Justices
the twenty seventh Day of September in the Year of Our Lord God One thousand
seven hundred twenty and Six in his proper person And for the same Lord prop.ry
doth give the Court here to understand and be Informed that James Clarke
late of S.t pauls parish in the County afd weaver the twenty sixth Day of Septemb.r
Anno Dom. seventeen hundred twenty & Six at the parish afd in the County afd
within the Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon a Certain Bartholomew Collins
in the peace of God and of the said Lord prop.ry then & there being with force and
Arms an Assault did make and him the said Bartholomew then and there did
beat wound and Evilly treat so that of his Life it was much Dispaired and other
harms to him then and there did to the great Damage of the said Bartholomew
and against the peace of the said Lord prop.ry his good rule and Government
Whereupon the said Tench Francis prayeth the Advice of the Court here in the p'pes
for the said Lord prop.ry and that due process of Law may issue against
the said James Clarke in this part to Answer unto the said Lord prop.ry
of an upon the premisses
    Test Dominick Kenslaugh                        T francis Cler. pac.

    And the afd James Clarke in his proper pson cometh and saith that he
is in no sort guilty of the premisses above upon him imposed as by the afd
Information it is alledged and thereof he putteth himself upon the Country

    And he who followeth ^for the Lord prop.ry^ in like manner saith he is guilty
                                                                                        T francis p.o Lord prop.ry

    And now here afterward to wit the fifteenth Day of November Anno
