 A writt haveing Issued against the s.d Sarah at his
Lordships Suit to answer unto an Information for
Adultery the Sher of Kent County to whome y.e said
writt was Directed makes Return thereof to this Court here on the third Teusday
of August being the Sixteenth Day of s.d Month Anno Dom. 1726 the
Day of Return of s.d writt Endorst as foll.s viz.t

 A writt haveing Issued against the said Walter at his
Lordships Suite to Answer unto an Information for Adultery
the Sher of Kent County to whome y.e said writt was
Directed makes Return thereof to this Court hereon the third
Teusday of August being the Sixteenth Day of s.d Month Anno Dom. 1726 the
Day of Return of s.d writt Endorst as foll.s viz.t Cepi Corpus p Jn.o Gresham Sherr

    Kent County fs.t Memorandum that Tench Francis Gent Attry of the Right
Honourable the Lord prop.ry that now is for the County afd who for the Same
Lord prop.ry in this part prosecuteth Doth Come here into Kent County Court
before Lambert Wilmer Esq.r and his Associates his said Lordships Justices of
the Same County Court to wit at new Town in the County afd the twenty first day
of June Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred twenty & Six and for the Same Lord
prop.ry Doth give the Court here to understand and be Informed that Walter Freestone
late of S.t pauls parish in the County afd planter /the Same Walter then and
yet haveing a Lawfull wife to wit at the parish and County afd the twentyeth Day
of March Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred twenty and five at the parish afd in
the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court haveing been duly admonished
by y.e Vestrymen of the Same parish in y.e afd County did afterward
to wit the twenty first Day of Aprill Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred twenty &
Six and at Divers other times as well before as Since the afd twentieth day
of March at the parish afd in the County afd within y.e Jurisdiction afd
adulteriously frequent the Company of a Certain Katherin Hopkins Spinster
of the afd parish and County Contrary to y.e Acts of Assembly in that Case made
and provided and ag.st the Peace of the s.d Lord prop.ry that now is his Good Rule
and Dignity &c.a Wherefore the Same Attry of y.e s.d Lord prop.ry for y.e said
Lord prop.ry prayeth the advice of the Court herein the premisses and
