167 Kent County fs.t Memorandum that Tench Francis Gentl Attorney of the Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry that now is for the County afd who for the Same Lord prop.ry in this part prosecuteth Doth Come here into Kent County Court before Lambert Wilmer Esq.r and his Associates his Lordships Justices of the Same County Court to wit at new Town in the County afd the twenty first Day of June Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred twenty and Six and for the Same Lord prop.ry Doth give this Court here to understand and be informed that Katherine Hopkins late of S.t pauls parish in the County afd the twentyeth Day of March Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred twenty and five at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court haveing been Duely Admonished by the Vestery of the Same parish in the afd County Did afterward to wit the twenty first Day of Aprill Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred twenty and Six and at Divers other times as well before as Since the afd twentyeth Day of March at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction afd as a fornicatrix freequent the Company of a Certain Walter Freestone of the afd parish and County planter Contrary to the form of the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided and against the peace of the s.d Lord prop.ry that now is his Good Rule and Government &c.a Wherefore the Same Attry of the said Lord prop.ry for the Same Lord prop.ry prayeth the Advice of the Court here in the premisses and Due process of Law in this part to be made against the afd Katherine to Answer unto the said Lord prop.ry and upon y.e premisses &c.a Tench Francis Cler. pac. And the afd Katherine Hopkins in her proper person Comes and Saith that She is in no Sort Guilty of the premisses above upon her Imposed as by the afd Information it is alledged and thereof She putteth her self upon the Country Kath.n Hopkins in p.a psona And he who followeth for the Lord prop.ry in like Manner Saith She is Guilty Tench Francis p Lord prop.ry And now here afterwards to wit the twenty first Day of June Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty Six Comes here into Court the afd Katherine Hopkins and Relinquishes the plea ^afd^ and Saith that she Cannot Gainsay the Information afd so as afd against her brought nor Can She Say but that She is Guilty of the premisses afd above upon her Imposed as by the afd Information Considered by the Justices here to wit at the Court house in the Town of Chester in said County this twenty first Day of June Anno Dom.
