And now at this Day to wit the Sixteenth Day of June the afd John Coleman
not haveing hitherto appeared to the Recognizance afd Therefore it is Considered by
the Justices here to wit at the Courthouse in the Town of Chester this Sixteenth
Day of June Anno Domini one thousand Seven hundred and twenty four that y.e
afd Recognizance of the afd Ashbury Sutton as Surety for the afd John Coleman
for the sume ^of^ tenn pound Sterl. money of great Brittain be forfeited to the use of
the Lord prop.ry of this Province and this Said Lordship have thereof Execon
against the said Ashbury Sutton.  also it is Considered that the said Ashbury pay
the sume of thirty Seven pounds of Tobacco Costs accrueing on the premises to
the Clark of this Court.

M.r Simon Wilmer one of the Justices of this Court
Returns a Recognizance of George Hastins as Surety
for the said Mary Pool in the words foll viz.t

    Aug.st the 24.th 1723  Mem.rd then came George Hastins and Acknowledged
himselfe Indebted to Lordship the Lord prop.ry of this Province his heirs &
Successors in the sume of twenty pou^n^ds Sterl to be Leveyed of his Goods &
Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally that Mary Pool Doth not
make her personall appearance at our next Court to be held for this Coty
the third Tuesday in November next and then and there to Answer to
all such things as Shall be objected against her on his s.d Lordships
behalf and particularly of Steeling or Concealling Divers goods from
M.rs Mary Moll M.r James Smith and Mad.m Martha Smith and in the
mean time to be of good Behaviour wherewith he acknowledgeth him
selfe Content.  The above Recognizance taken by me the Subscriber one
of his Lordships Justices of this County of Kent in Maryland the Day
and year above written.

    Att which s.d November Court to wit the nineteenth Day of s.d
Month Anno Domini one thousand Seven hundred and twenty three the
Day of appearance to the s.d Recognizance the afd Mary Pool being s[o]lemnly
Called to appear According to the Tenor thereof Cometh not but makes Deflt
whereby the same Recognizance became Lyable to be forfeited but at the
prayer of the afd George Hastins the same was Respited unto the then ensueing
March Court and the same March Court unto this psent June Court.
