Six hundred pounds of Tobacco as a fine for his afd Crime of Committing
fornication in form afd Confest which fine to be applyed according to
Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided as also the Sume of
four hundred and Sixty one pounds of Tobacco Costs accrueing on the
promises afd to the officers of this Court.

    Ordered that the afd Rice Jones Give Security for his fine &
fees in the Judgment afd Specified.  Whereupon Benjamin
Blacledge of Kent County Tanner Comes into Court and under takes to pay
the fine and fees afd amounting to the Sume of one thousand and Sixty
one pounds of Tobacco for the afd Rice Jones and thereupon the afd
Rice Jones is therefrom Discharged.
   
    The afd Rice Jones haveing entered into Recognizance at last
November Court for his appearance to the March Court following the
same Rice not appearing it was Respited to this present June Court
  
     And now at this present June Court the s.d Rice haveing appeared
ordered that his Recognizance and his Suretys Recognice be
Discharged.
   
    Rice Jones of Kent County planter at last November Court
Did accnowledge himself Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord
prop.ry of this Province his heirs and Successors in the Sume of tenn
pound Sterl money of great Brittain to be made and Leved of his goods
and Chattels Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if he Should not
make his personall ^appearance^ at the then next Court to be held for the County afd
at the Courthouse in the Town of Chester in the same County on
the third Tuesday of March then next ensueing to answer to the
Indictment found against him for Committing fornication and that
in the meantime he Should be of Good Behaviour the s.d Rice
not appearing at the s.d March Court the same Recog.c was Respited
to this Court.  And now here at this Court the s.d Rice haveing appeared
the same Recognizance was Discharged.

of Kent County acknowledged themselve Indebted ^at last Novem.er C.rt^ unto his Lordship
