ready twelve &c.a as by his precept he was Commanded And now here afterwards
to wit the Day and year last mentioned Come again as well the s.d Lord prop.ry
by Michael Howard his Clerk of Indictments afd as also the s.d Isaac Ashley who Stands
at the Barr and the Jurors of that Jury being Impanelled and Called likewise Came
to wit William Simson foreman, Thomas Massey, Jn.r Cooper, John Blackiston
Will.m Dean, John Gilbert, Christopher Bellican, Sutton Burgin, Peter Massey
Abraham Ambrose, Jeremiah Covinton, ^&^ Roger Hicks, who being Duely Elected
tryed and Sworn to Say the truth on the premisses upon their Oath Do Say that Isaac
Ashley is Guilty of the felony as he Stands Indicted for feloniously Stealing the
afd Weather

    Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at the Court house in the
Town of Chester in s.d County this Sixteenth Day of November Anno Domini
Seventeen hundred and twenty five that the afd Isaac Ashley Stand in the
pillory for the Space of one hour and that afterwards he receive at the publick
whipping post twenty Lashes well laid on his bare back till the blood appears
as a punishment for his afd Crime of feloniously Stealing the afd Weather According
to the force form and Effect of the verdict afd also it is Considered that the said
Isaac Ashley pay the Sume of three thousand Nine hundred and thirty pounds
of Tobacco Costs accrueing on the premisses afd

    Ordered by the Court here at this Day and year last mentioned
that the Sherf of Kent County take the afd Isaac Ashley into his Custody and
Execute the punishment in the Judgment afd Specifyed & afterwards to bring him
into Court again of which precept the s.d Sherf to wit Fred.k Hanson Gent high
Sherrf of Kent County make Return on the Day and year last Said that he
hath Executed the s.d Judgment and also hath hath here the s.d Isaac Ashley
before the Court

    Sarah Underhill Comes into Court upon her Corporal Oath Administered to her
on the holy Evangilists of Almighty God proves that She hath Attended this
Court for the Space of fourteen Days as an Evidence for his Lordship against
the afd Isaac Ashley being thereto Lawfully Sumoned Whereupon the
said Isaac Ashley is ordered to pay unto the afd Sarah Underhill the Sume of
four hundred and twenty pounds of Tobacco for her Attendance as afd According
to Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided

    Elizabeth Canady Comes into Court upon her Corporal Oath Administered to her
on the holy Evangilists of Almighty God proves that She hath attended this
Court for the Space of fourteen Days as an Evidence for his Lordship against
