CHAP. 174.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That all fines, under the pro-
visions of this act, shall be recovered in the name of the
State of Maryland, as other small debts out of court are; and
it shall be the duty of the officer collecting the same, to
pay it over to the informer and collector as aforesaid,
agreeably to the provisions of this act.

CHAPTER 173.

£ Supplement to the act, entitled, an act for the revaluation
of Real and Personal Property, in Anne Arundel coun-
ty, passed at the present session of the General Assembly.
|

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Commissioners of Anne Arundel
county, instead of appointing one or more assessors for
each election district, as is provided for in the act of No-
vember session, eighteen hundred and twelve, chapter one
hundred and ninety-one, shall appoint three suitable and
discreet men, whose duty it shall be to go together through-
out the county, and value and assess all the real and per-
sonal property in said county, agreeably to the provisions
of the act to which this is a supplement, and the said com-
missioners shall also appoint one assessor for the city of
Annapolis.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the Commissioners shall
allow the said assessors such compensation for their services
as they shall think just and reasonable, not exceeding the
sum of five hundred dollars each.

An act to alter and change the Location of a Public Road
therein mentioned.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assembly
by the petition of sundry citizens of Anne Arundel coun-
ty, that the public convenience would be promoted by
changing the location of a part of the public road, lead-
ing from the Westminster road, by Sykesville, through the
farm of Joshua Young — Therefore,
