CHAP. 139.

CHAPTER 137.

Passed Mar. 4, 1833

An act to make valid and effective, in certain cases, Sheriff^
bonds, in and for Allegany County.

Deeds confirmed.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That all Sheriff's bonds in and for Allegany
County, that have heretofore been executed in the pre-
sence of other persons than those required by law, and
which have been approved and recorded according to law,
shall have the same force, validity, and effect, as if the
said bond or bonds had been executed and attested ac-
cording to law.

Acts confirmed.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That all proceedings of the
several Sheriffs in and for Allegany Counly, who may have
given bond or bonds, as aforesaid, shall be, and the same
are hereby confirmed and made valid.


CHAPTER 138.

Passed Mar. 6, 1833

An act to Divorce John Watcher, of Frederick County,
from his wife Sophia Watcher.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the marriage of John Watcher and Sophia Watcher,
of Frederick County, heretofore solemnized, be, and the
same is hereby declared to be, absolutely, and to all in-
tents and purposes null and void, and the said John
Watcher and Sophia Watcher are declared to be divorced,

3 An act for the valuation of real and personal property in
Anne Arundel Counly.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the Commissioners of Anne Arundel County
be, n and they are hereby authorised and directed immedi-
ately after the passage of this act, or as soon thereafter as
may be practicable, to proceed agreeably to the provisions
of an act passed at November session, eighteen hundred
