CHAP. 131.

county, agreeably to the provisions of the act of Assem-
bly, entitled, "An act for the valuation of real and personal
property in Baltimore county," out of the limits, of the
city.


Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That the Commissioners
aforesaid, may at their discretion, either appoint an addi-
tional clerk, or allow their clerk such additional compensa-
tion for the services which it may be necessary for him to
perform, under their direction in consequence of the valua-
tion authorised by this act, as they shall deem reasonable
and just.


CHAPTER 131.

Passed Mar. 5,1833

An act to authorise Catharine Bowie, of Prince George's
county, an infant under the age of twenty-one years, to
convey to William D. Bowie, certain real estate.

Preamble

WHEREAS, it has been represented to the General As-
sembly of Maryland, that it would be highly beneficial to
Catharine Bowie, of Prince George's county, an infant,
under the age of twenty-one years, to exchange with her
brother William D. Bowie, the real estate which she now
owns, for the plantation, which the said William D. Bowie
purchased of a certain Benjamin Young — Therefore,

Authorised to con-

vey estate

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Catharine Bowie, of Prince George's county, an in-
fant, under the age of twenty-one years, be, and she is here-
by authorised and empowered to convey to her brother
William D. Bowie, all or such part of the real estate, now
held by the said Catharine Bowie, and do such other act
as may be necessary to effect an exchange of real estate
between the said Catharine Bowie, and the said William
D. Bowie, and that a deed so made and executed by the
said Catharine Bowie, shall have the same validity and
legal effect, as the same would be entitled to, if the said
Catharine Bowie were of full age.
