CHAPTER 17.

CHAP. 18.

An act to authorise the Levy Court of Dorchester county, to
appoint an additional Constable in the Town of Cam-
bridge, in said county.

Passed Jan. 24,1833

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That from and after the passage of this act
the Judges of the Levy court for Dorchester county, be,
and they are hereby authorised and required at the time of
appointing Constables for said county to appoint two Con-
stables in the town of Cambridge, instead of one, as is
now provided by law.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That so much of the act of
December session, eighteen hundred and thirty, chapter
one hundred and thirty-two, as is inconsistent with the
provisions of this act, be, and the same is hereby repealed

G. Hartte, J. T. Heartle, Thomas Sappington, William H.
Morgan, John Barrington, James Dorman, James Geddes,
George League, William G. Cook, William Wilson, George
L. Ayres, Alexander Dorsey, William C. Harris, J. F. Co-
nine, J. W. Hagger, M. DeYoung, George H. McDowell,
William B. Whiting, E. Laroque, John H. Naff, E. Stans-
bury, jr. John Armstrong, J. A. Diffenderfer, A. Hyam,
Edward Ing, John C. Street, Martin Fisher, Samuel Sands,
John Boyd, J. J. Reekers, Richard Bradshaw, Peter Wil-
son, B. H. Cook, L. A. Schoolfield, William Hanna,
George W. Miller, Louis E. Smith, and Ebenezer L. Fin-
ley, and all and every other person or persons hereafter be-
coming members of "The Commercial Savings Institution
of Baltimore," in the manner hereafter mentioned, shall be
and are hereby created and made a corporation and body
politic, by the name and style of "the Commercial Savings
