                August Court                 1761                      99
to the use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied if it happen that the Said Robert
Hopkins do not keep Good Rules and orders and do Suffer Idle Loose and disorderly Persons to Tipple Game and
Commit disorders or Other Irregularities in his Ordinary or house of Entertainment Contrary to the true intent and
meaning of the Act of Assembly in Such Case Provided &c

Robert Geddes    Robert Geddes of Somerset County Inholder Came here in to Court in his Proper Person and prays that
Lycence to keep    he may be Permitted to keep an Ordinary or house of Entertainment at Princes Ann Town in the County afd. for
Tavern    the use and Conveniency of Travellers and Strangers as to them Respectively Shall Seem meet which is by
the Court here unto him Granted he Giveing Security as the Law directs to keep Good Rules and Orders in his Ordinary or house
of Entertainment as afd. &c.    Whereupon the Said Robert Geddes together with Joshua Merrill and Isaac Coulbourn of
Somerset County Planters his Securitys all Present herein Court in their Proper Persons Acknowledged themselves
Indebted unto his Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Propry of the Province of Maryland in thirty Pounds Curt
Money of Maryland of their bodys Goods or Chattles Lands and Tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use of his
Said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied if it happen that the Said Robert Geddes do not keep
Good Rules and Orders and do Suffer Idle Loose and disorderly Persons to Tipple Game and Commit disorders or
Other Irregularities in his Ordinary or house of Entertainment Contrary to the true Intent and Meaning of the Act
of Assembly in Such Case Provided &c.

Samuel Wilkins    Samuel Wilkins of Somerset County Inholder Came here into Court in his Proper Person and Prays that
Lycence to keep    he may be Permitted to keep an Ordinary or house of Entertainment in the County afd. at Princes Ann
Tavern    Town for the use and Conveniency of Travellers and Strangers as to them Respectively Shall Seem

John Cox Lycence    John Cox of Somerset County Inholder Came here into Court in his Proper Person and Prays that he
to keep tavern    may be Permitted to keep an Ordinary or house of Entertainment in the County afd. at Princes Ann Town for the
use and Conveniency of Travellers and Strangers as to them Respectively Shall Seem meet which is by the Court here unto

bodies Goods or Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors to
be made and Levied if it happen that the Said John Cox do not keep Good Rules and Orders and do Suffer Idle Loose and
disorderly Persons to Tipple Game and Commit disorders or Other Irregularitys in his Ordinary or house of Entertainment
Contrary to the true Intent and Meaning of the Act of Assembly in Such Case Provided &c

Alexr. Thos. Russell    Alexander Thomas Russell of Somerset County Inholder Came here into Court in his Proper Person
Lycence to keep    And Prays that he may be Permitted to keep an Ordinary or house of Entertainment in the County afd. at
Tavern         his Own house

   ^ Princes Ann Town ^ for the use and Conveniency of Travellers and Strangers as to them Respectively
