             June Court                   1761                 92
unto this Court the Account of the Estate of Tabitha Adams decd. Wherein it is found that there is Ballance due to
the Abovesaid Representatives the Sum of One hundred and Eighty Pounds Ten Shillings and Seven Pence Curt Money
therefore if the abovesaid Jacob Adams, Samuel Adams and Elias White them or Any them their or Any of their heirs
Executors Administrators doe and Shall well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the abovesaid Representatives the afd.
Sum of One hundred and Eighty Pounds Ten Shillings and Seven pence Curt Money According to Act of Assembly and
decd. Will when they Shall Arrive at full Age to Receive the Same then the above Obligation to be Void Else to Remain

Somerset to wit I doe hereby Certifie that on the Seventeenth day of June in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred Sixty
and One Personally Appeared before me Benjamin Burridge and Quallified himself as an undersheriff for the Said
County by takeing the Severall Oaths to the Government Subscribing the test and Oath of Abjuration and takeing the
Oath of Undersheriff in My Presence given under my hand the day and Year above Written         Th. Jones

      June ye. 18th: 1760
                 Somerset County fst Whereas the Worshipfull Court hath Appointed us the Subscribers to
Lay out a Road from the head of Wecomoco Creek to the Main Road that Leads from George Pollits to Princes Ann
Town    We therefore have Laid it out in the following Manner that is to Say that the Road is to begin at the
upper Landing place of Wecomoco Creek and to Run up the Branch of the Said Creek to an old Mill belonging to the
Widow Coston a Little Below the dam and then along the Branch Side untill it Comes to the Divisional line
Between the Revd. Alexr. Adams and the Widow Coston and then on the Said line to the Branch Between the Widow
Costin and Thomas Pollit and from thence up the Eastermost Side of the Branch to the old ROad that Leads
from the Widow Costins to George Pollit and from thence into the Main Road that Leads from George Pollits
to Princes Ann Town

Ordered that Wm. Kennelly Recover Against David Cordery Seventy Two pounds of Tobacco being due unto him for
his Attendance three days as an Evidence on behalf of his Lordhsip against the Said David Cordery he haveing Made
Oath to the Same &c

                 Ordered that Stephen Hope Recover Against William Pollit Twenty four pounds of
Tobacco being due unto him for his Attendance One day as an Evidence on behalf of his Lordship Against the Said
William Pollit he haveing Made Oath to the Same &c
      Ordered that Charles Hayman Recover Against William Brereton Seventy Two pounds of Tobacco
being due unto him for his Attendance three days as an Evidence on behalf of the Said William Brereton Against
John White he haveing Made Oath to the Same &c

@    Command was Given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should Take Isaac Roads Late of Somerset
WA    Isaac Roads    County Planter if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him Should Safe keep so that he might have his
body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of
June Anno Dom. 1761 to Answer unto William Pittman of A plea of trespass upon the Case &c. And the Same day is
Given to the afd. William here &c
                          And hereupon the Said William Complained of the afd. Isaac in the Plea afd. in form following
Somerset fst Isaac Roads Late of Somerset County Planter was Attached to Answer unto William Pittman of A plea of
trespass upon the Case and So forth    And Whereupon the Said William by Wm. Hayward his Attorney Complains that whereas
the Said Isaac after the first day of May Anno Dom. MDCCV to wit at Somerset County afd. did Make his Certain note in
Writing Commonly Called a Primissory with his Proper Name and hand thereto Subscribed bearing date the Same day
And Year Last afd. which Said Note the Said Isaac to the Said William then and there did deliver by Which Said
Note the Said Isaac did Promise to Pay to the Said William by the Name of William Pittman or Order
