Molatto Belindo	County upon their Oath Present that Molatto Belinda Late of Stepney Parish in the County afd. Spinster

on the first day of June in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty at the Parish af^d. in the County af^d. did
Commit Fornication with a Certain Molatto Slave to the Jurors unknown and did permit the Same unknown Negro Slave
to have Carnall knowledge of her body and a Bastard Child on the body of her the Said Belinda then and there to beget
to the high displeasure of Almighty God to the Evill Example of all Others in Such Case Offending Contrary to the peace
of the Said Lord Prop^ry that now is his Good Rule and Government And Against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such
Case made and Provided & So forth
      Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should take the Said Molatto Belindo if
&^c. to Answer &^c.       And now to witt at a Court of his Lordship held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of June
Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One before the Justices thereof Came the af^d. Molatto Belindo in her
Proper Person and had a hearing of the Indictment af^d. Saith that She Cannot deny but that She is Guilty of the Premisses in the
Indictment af^d. upon her Imposed in Manner and form as by the Indictment af^d. Above Against her Supposed
   Whereupon all and Singular the Premisses being Seen and by the Court fully understood it is Considered by the Court here
that for as Much as there is due to the County of Somerset Seven Years Service for Such persons as are Guilty of Inordinate
Copulation af^d. And Likewise that Such Issue begot by Such Copulation become a Servant untill it Arrive at the Age of
thirty One Years According to Act of Assembly in Such Case Provided &^c. that the af^d. Belindo become a Servant for Seven
Years for Such Copulation af^d. and that Esther the Issue of the af^d. Belindo and begot by the Copulation af^d. become a Servant untill
it Arrive at the Age of thirty One Years    Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court that the Sheriff to witt John Dennis
Immediately Sell the af^d. Belindo for the term of Seven Years and Esther the Issue of the af^d. Belindo begot by the Copulation
af^d. for the term of thirty One Years to the highest bidder &^c. And afterwards in the Same Court Came the af^d. Sheriff and Returned
that he by Virtue of the Order af^d. had Sold the af^d. Belindo for the term of Seven Years and Esther the Issue of the af^d. Belindo
for the term of thirty One Years to Joseph Collins for the Quantity of four thousand Nine hundred pounds of tobacco he being the
highest Bidder &^c.    W^m. Venables undertakes and became Security of the af^d. Joseph Collins for the Payment of the Tob^o af^d.
