that now is his good Rule and Government and Against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Case made and
provided and So forth And Whereupon the Same Attorney of the Same Lord Propry for the Lord Propry prays
Advice of the Court here in the premisses and that due process of Law may in this part be made Against the Said
Milcah to Answer of and upon the premisses and So forth
      Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that Immediately he Should take the Said Milcah Ackworth
if &c. to Answer &c.       And now to witt at a Court of his Lordship held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of June
Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One before the Justices thereof Came the afd. Milcah Ackworth in her proper
Person According to a Certain Recognizance by her and her Security in that part before Acknowledged and had a hearing of the
Information afd. Saith that She Cannot deny but that She is Guilty of the Premisses in the Information afd. mentioned upon
her Imposed in Manner and form as by the Information afd. Above Against her Supposed and Maketh Oath that a Certain
Joseph Husk is the father and is Willing to pay her fine for the Same &c
           Whereupon all and Singular the Premisses being Seen and by the Court fully understood it is Considered
by the Court here that the afd. Milcah Ackworth for the Premisses and Offence afd. in the Information afd. Above Specified
be taken &c. Which Said Milcah Ackworth present here in Court as afd. is fined for the Premisses and Offence
afd. the Sum of Thirty Shillings Curt Money of Maryland Which She paid here in Court to the Sheriff for the
Use of the County &c

The Same    Somerset to wit The Jurors for his Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Propry that now is for the body
@    of Somerset County upon their Oath Present that Joseph Husk Jur. Late of Stepney Parish in the County afd.
Jos. Husk    Planter on the third day of May in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty at the Parish
afd. in the County afd. did Commit Fornication with a Certain Milcah Ackworth and a Bastard Child on the body of the
Said Milcah then and there did beget to the high displeasure of Almighty God to the Evill Example of all others in Such
Case Offending Against the peace of the Right Honrble the Lord Propry that now is his good Rule and Government
and Against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Case made and Provided and So forth
      Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that Immediately he Should take the Said Joseph
Husk if &c. to Answer &c.       And now to witt at a Court of his Lordship held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of
of June Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One before the Justices thereof Came the afd. Joseph
Husk by Wm. Allen his Attry and Saith that he Cannot deny but that he is Guilty of the Premisses in the Indictment
afd. above upon him Imposed in Manner and form as by the Indictment afd. Above Against him Supposed and is willing
to pay his fine for the Same &c    Whereupon all and Singular the Premisses being Seen and by the Court fully understood
it is Considered by the Court here that the afd. Joseph Husk for the Premisses and Offence afd. in the Indictment afd.
Above Specified be taken &c which Said Joseph Husk is fined for the Premisses and Offence afd. the Sum of thirty Shillings
Curt Money which was paid to the Sheriff for the use of the County &c

The Same
@    We the Grand Jury for the body of Somerset County do Present a Certain Mary More of Somerset Parish in the
Mary More    County afd. for bearing a Bastard Child on or About the 20th day of August 1759       Jarvis Ballard foreman
Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that Immediately he Should take the Said Mary More if &c to
Answer &c.    A now to witt at a Court of his Lordship held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of June Anno Dom.
One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One before the Justices thereof Came the afd. Mary More in her Proper person and
had a hearing of the Presentment afd. Saith that She Cannot deny but that She is Guilty of the Premisses in the
Presentment afd. above upon her Imposed in Manner and form as by the Presentment afd. Above Against her Supposed and
but will not declare the father for which She is willing to pay a double fine According to Act of Assembly &c
      Whereupon all and Singular the Premisses being Seen and by the Court fully understood it is Considered by
the Court here that the afd. Mary More for the Premisses and Offence afd. in the Presentment afd. Specified be taken
Which Said Mary More is fined for the Premisses and Offence afd. the Sum of three pounds Curt Money of Maryland
which She paid here in Court to the Sheriff for the use of the County &c
