@	Somerset to wit    Be it Remembred that William Hayward Gent Attry of the Right Honrble the Lord Propry
James Hayman	that now is who for the Same Lord Propry in this part Prosecuteth doth Come here into the County Court of the Same

Lord Prop^ry held for Somerset County to wit at Princes Ann Town in the Same County the Sixteenth day of June in the Year of our
Lord God one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One Before Isaac Handy Esq^r. and Others Associates the Said Lord Prop^ry his
Justices of the Same County Court and for the Same Lord Prop^ry doth Give the Same Justices here to understand and be Informed
that James Hayman Late of Stepney Parish in the County af^d. Planter on the Twenty Ninth day of March in the Year of
our Lord God One thousand Seven hundred Sixty and One with Force and Arms at the Parish af^d. in the County af^d. in and
upon a Certain Charles Hayman in the peace of God and the Said Lord Prop^ry then and there being an Assault did Make and him
the Said Charles then and there did Beat Wound and Ill treat so that of his Life it was Much Dispaired and other Wrongs to
the Said Charles then and there did to the Great Damage of the Said Charles and Against the peace of the Said Lord Prop^ry his
Good Rule and Government And Whereupon the Same Att^ry of the Same Lord Prop^ry for the Same Lord Prop^ry prays Advice of
the Court here in the Premisses and that due Process of Law may in this part be made Against the Said James to Answer of and
upon the Premisses and So forth
           Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that Immediately he Should Take the Said James
Hayman if &^c. to Answer &^c.       And now to witt at a Court of his Lordship held at Princes Ann Town the Third Tuesday
of August and Year af^d. before the Justices thereof Came the af^d. James Hayman in his Proper Person and had a hearing
of the Information af^d. Saith that he will not Contend with his Said Lordship but for the Saveing Costs Labour and Expences
About the Premisses Submits himself at fine with his Said Lordship by Occasion of the Premisses and put himself
upon the favour of the Court    Whereupon all and Singular the Premisses being Seen and by the Court fully understood
it is Considered by the Court here that the af^d. James Hayman for the Premisses and offence af^d. in the Information af^d.
above Specified be taken &^c. Which Said James Hayman present here in Court as af^d. is fined for the Premisses and offence
af^d. One Shilling Cur^t Money of Maryland which he paid here in Court to the Sheriff of the County for the use of his Lordship &^c

The Same	Somerset to witt The Jurors for his Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Propry that now is for the body of Somerset
@	County upon their Oath Present that John Roberson Late of Somerset Parish in the County afd. Blacksmith on the
John Roberson	thirtieth day of March in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One with force and Arms at

the Parish af^d. in the County af^d. in and upon a Certain Ann Cammeron in the peace of God and the Said Lord Prop^ry then and
there being an Assault did make and her the Said Ann then and there did beat Wound and Evilly treat So that of her Life
it was Much dispaired and other harms to her the Said Ann then and there did to the Great damage of the Said Ann and
Against the Peace of his Lordship the Right Hon^rble the Lord Prop^ry that now is his good Rule and Government
and So forth       Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that Immediately he Should Take the
Said John Roberson if &^c. To Answer &^c. And now to witt at a Court of his Lordship held at Princes Ann Town the third
Tuesday of June And Year af^d. before the Justices thereof Came the af^d. John Roberson in his Proper Person According
to A Certain Recognizance by him in that Part before Acknowledged and had a hearing of the Indictment af^d.
