@	Somerset to witt    The Jurors for his Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Proprietary that now is for the
Elizth. Bounds	body of Somerset County upon their Oath Present that Elizabeth Bounds Late of Stepney Parish in the

County af^d. Spinster on the first day of August in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty Nine at the
Parish in the County af^d. did Commit Fornication with a Certain Person to the Jurors unknown and did Permit the Same
unknown Person to have Carnal knowledge of her body and a Bastard Child on the body of her the Said Elizabeth then and
there to beget to the high displeasure of Almighty God to the Evil Example of all Others in Such Case Offending Contrary
to the Peace of the Said Lord Prop^ry that now is his Good Rule and Government and Against the form of the Act of
Assembly in Such Case made and provided and So forth
           Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should take the Said Eliz^th Bounds
if She Should be found in his Bailywick and her Should Safe keep so that he might have her body before the
Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of June Anno
Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One to Answer unto his Said Lordship of and Concerning the
Indictment af^d.       Att Which day here Came the af^d. Elizabeth Bounds in her Proper Person and had a hearing of
the Indictment af^d. Saith that She Cannot deny but that She is Guilty of the Premisses in the Indictment af^d. Above
upon him Imposed in Manner and form as by the Indictment af^d. above Against her Supposed and is Willing to pay her
fine for the Same and Maketh Oath that a Certain Anthony Collins is the father of the Bastard Child She Stands
Indicted for &^c.       Whereupon all and Singular the Premisses being Seen and by the Court fully understood it is
Considered by the Court here that the af^d. Eliz^th Bounds present here in Court as af^d. is fined for the Premisses and Offence af^d. thirty
Shillings Cur^t Money of Maryland which She paid here in Court to the Sheriff of for the use of the County &^c
