June Court 1761 86 Land Called Becknam and the Bounds thereof being decayed and uncertain your Petitioner prays your Worships would be pleased to Grant a Commission to Assertain the Bounds of Said Land or Any Other Bounds on which the Same may depend and Your Petitioner as in duty bound Will Pray Thomas Dashiell Whereupon Came here into Court the afd. Petitioner in his Proper Person and thereupon the Petition afd. being Read and heard and fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that a Commission Issue to the afd. Thomas Dashiell as by the Petition afd. is Praid and that Ephraim King, George Gale, George Scott and Alexander Roberson of Somerset County Gent be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission According to Act of Assembly in Such Case provided &c

Allen, George Gale and Nicholas Evans of Somerset County Gent be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission According to Act of Assembly in Such Case Provided &c
afd. with force and Arms in and upon a Certain Stephen Redding in the peace of God and the Said Lord Propry then and there being an Assault did Make and him the Said Stephen then and there did beat Wound and Evilly treat So that of his Life it was Much dispaired and other harms to him the Said Stephen then and there did to the Great damage of the Said And Against the Peace of the Right Honrble the Lord Propry that now is his good Rule and Government and So forth Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should Take the Said William Pollit if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him Should Safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of June Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One to Answer unto his Lordship of and Concerning the Indictment afd. Att which day here Came the afd. Wm. Pollit in his Proper Person and had a hearing of the Indictment afd. but Saith that he will not Contend with his Lordship ^ for the Saveing Costs Labour and Expences about the Premisses Submits himself at fine with his Said Lordship by Occasion of the Premisses and Put himself upon the favour of the Court Whereupon all and Singular the Premisses being Seen and by the Court here fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that the afd. William Pollit for the Premisses and Offence afd. in the Indictment afd. Above Specified be taken &c. Which Said William Pollit present here in Court as afd. is fined for the Premisses and Offence afd. the Sum of Six pence Curt Money of Maryland which he paid here in Court to the Sheriff of the County afd. for the use of his Lordship &c
Commit Fornication with a Certain Margaret Duncan and a Bastard Child on the body of her the Said Margaret then and there did beget to the high displeasure of Almighty God to the Evilly Example of all others in Such Case Offending Contrary to the peace of the Said Lord Propry that now is his good Rule and Government And Against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Case made and Provided and So forth Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should take the Said John Furlong if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him Should Safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday |
