Henry Lowes	To the Wordshipfull the Justices of Somerset County Court the Petition of Henry Lowes Jur. Humbly Sheweth
Petn	that your Petitioner is Possessed of part of a tract of Land Called Venture Priviledge the Bounds of which are

uncertain and Precarious and the Evidences to Prove the Same Ancient and Infirm your Petitioner therefore Prays that
your Worships would Grant a Commission and Appoint Commissioners to Examine Evidences to Perpetuate the bounds
thereof or the Bounds of any other Lands on which the Same may depend and Your Petitioner Shall pray
      Whereupon Came here into Court the af^d. Petitioner in his Proper Person and thereupon the Petition af^d. being
Read and heard and fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that a Commission Issue to the af^d. Henry Lowes as
by the Petition af^d. is Praid and that William Hayward, W^m. Allen, George Gale and Nicholas Evans of Somerset County
Gen^t be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission According to Act of Assembly in Such Case Provided &^c

@	Somerset to wit The Jurors for his Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Propry that now is for the Body of Somerset
Wm. Pollit	County upon their Oath present that William Pollit Late of Somerset Parish in the County afd. Planter on the

Twenty fifth day of December in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty at the Parish af^d. in the County
af^d. with force and Arms in and upon a Certain Stephen Redding in the peace of God and the Said Lord Prop^ry then and there
being an Assault did Make and him the Said Stephen then and there did beat Wound and Evilly treat So that of his Life
it was Much dispaired and other harms to him the Said Stephen then and there did to the Great damage of the Said
And Against the Peace of the Right Hon^rble the Lord Prop^ry that now is his good Rule and Government and
So forth
                          Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should Take the Said William
Pollit if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him Should Safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices
of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of June Anno Dom. one
thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One to Answer unto his Lordship of and Concerning the Indictment af^d.
           Att which day here Came the af^d. W^m. Pollit in his Proper Person and had a hearing of the Indictment af^d.
                                                                  but
Saith that he will not Contend with his Lordship ^ for the Saveing Costs Labour and Expences about the Premisses Submits
himself at fine with his Said Lordship by Occasion of the Premisses and Put himself upon the favour of the Court
           Whereupon all and Singular the Premisses being Seen and by the Court here fully understood it is
Considered by the Court here that the af^d. William Pollit for the Premisses and Offence af^d. in the Indictment af^d.
Above Specified be taken &^c. Which Said William Pollit present here in Court as af^d. is fined for the Premisses and
Offence af^d. the Sum of Six pence Cur^t Money of Maryland which he paid here in Court to the Sheriff of the County
af^d. for the use of his Lordship &^c

Eighth day of March in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty at the Parish af^d. in the County af^d. did
Commit Fornication with a Certain Margaret Duncan and a Bastard Child on the body of her the Said Margaret then and there did
beget to the high displeasure of Almighty God to the Evilly Example of all others in Such Case Offending Contrary to the peace of the
Said Lord Prop^ry that now is his good Rule and Government And Against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Case
made and Provided and So forth    Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should take the
Said John Furlong if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him Should Safe keep so that he might have his body
before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Princes Ann Town the third
