                            June Court                      1761                85
in their Proper persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the afd. Molatto David in thirty Pounds Curt Money of
Maryland on their bodies Goods or Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use of the Said David his heirs
and Assigns to be made and Levied if it happen that the Said George Scott do not during the term afd. Learn his Said
Apprentice the trade of a Cordwainer and to Read in the Psalter and at the Expiration of his Servitude do not Likewise find
and Provide for his Said Apprentice Meat drink Washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to have
and Wear during the term afd.

Eph King Appointed
   Guardian to    Ephraim King of Somerset County Gent being present here in Court in his Proper Person of his Own
Thos. Handy    free Consent is Appointed by the Court here as Guardian to a Certain Thomas Handy an Orphan under the
Age of fourteen Years untill he the Said Thomas Should Arrive at full Age by Law for Choseing of his Guardian &c
Whereupon the Said Ephraim King Guardian as afd. is Ordered to take into his Care Possession the afd. Orphan and all his Estate
Real and Personall and Give Good Security to Comply with the Law in Relation to Such Guardianship as afd. and to deliver up
unto the afd. Orphan his heirs Exrs. or Admrs. or Guardian or Guardians hereafter to be Appointed or Chosen all the Estate Real &
Personal of the afd. Orphan that he Shall take into his Care and Possession peaceably and Quietly when Ever the Same Shall be
Legally Required       Thereupon the Said Ephraim King together with William Hayward and Samuel Wilson of Somerset
County Gent his Securitys All present here in Court in their Proper Persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the afd.
Thomas Handy in One thousand Pound Curt Money of Maryland of their bodies Goods or Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly and
Severally to the use of the Said Thomas Handy his heirs Exrs. Admrs. or Assigns to be made and Levied if it happen that the Said
Ephraim King Guardian as afd. his heirs Exrs. or Admrs. do not Comply with the Law in Relation to Such Guardianship as afd. and do
not deliver up unto the afd. Ephraim King Thomas Handy Orphan afd. his heirs Exrs. Admrs. Guardian or Guardians hereafter to be
Appointed or Chosen all the Estate Real and Personall of the afd. Orphan that he Shall take into his hands and Possession
Peaceably and Quietly whenever the Same Should be Legally Required &c.

The Same Guardian
to    Thos. H    Ephraim King of Somerset County Gent being present here in Court in his Proper Person of his Own free
Priscilla Handy    Consent is Appointed by the Court here as Guardian to a Certain Priscilla Handy an Orphan under the Age of
fourteen Years untill she the Said Priscilla Handy Should Arrive at full Age by Law for the Choseing of her Guardian &c
      Whereupon the Said Ephraim King Guardian afd. is Ordered to take into his Care Possession the afd. Orphan and all her
Estate Personall and Give Good Security to Comply with the Law in Relation to Such Guardianship as afd. and to deliver
up unto the afd. Orphan her heirs Exrs. or Admrs. or Guardian or Guardians hereafter to be Appointed or Chosen all the Estate

unto the afd. Priscilla Handy in five hundred pounds Curt Money of Maryland of their bodies Goods or Chattles Lands
and tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use of the Said Priscilla Handy her heirs Exrs. Admrs. or Assigns to be made
and Levied if it happen that the Said Ephraim King do not deliver up unto the afd. Priscilla Handy Orphan afd. his heirs
Exrs. Admrs. Guardian or Guardians hereafter to be Appointed or Chosen all the Estate Personall of the afd. Orphan
that he Shall take into his hands and Possession Peaceably and Quietly when ever the Same Should be Legally Required

John Collins Appointed    John Collins of Somerset County Planter being Present here in Court in his Proper Person of
Guardian to    his Own free Consent is Appointed by the Court here as Guardian to a Certain Ann Mary Adams an
Ann Mary Adams    Orphan under the Age of fourteen Years untill She the Said Ann Mary Adams Should Arrive at
full Age by Law for the choseing of her Guardian &c Whereupon the Said John Collins Guardian afd. is Ordered to take
into his Care and Possession the afd. Orphan and all her Estate Personall And it is further Ordered that a Certain Jacob Adams
deliver up unto the afd. Guardian all the Estate personall that he hath in his hands and possession and that of Right doth belong
to the afd. Orphan And that the Said Guardian give Good Security to Comply with the Law in Relation to Such Guardianship
