Acquilla Snelling	Lord Propry in this Part Prosecuteth doth Come here in to ye. County

Court of the same Lord Prop^ry held for Somerset County, to wit at Princes Ann
Town in y^e same County the         day of         In y^e. Year of our Lord one thous:
:and seven hundred & before Isaac Handy Esq^r. and others his Associates y^e. said
Lord Prop^ry his Justices of the same County Court and for the same Lord Prop^ry
doth give the same Justices here to understand and be Informed that Acquilla
Snelling Late of Somerset Parish in the said County of Somerset House Carpen:
:ter the       Day of       In y^e. Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred
and fifty nine at y^e. Parish af^d. in y^e County af^d. did Commit Fornication
with a Certain Elizabeth Luke and a Bastard Child on y^e. Body of her y^e.
said Elizabeth then & there did Begit to y^e. High Displeasure of Almighty
God to y^e. Evil Example of all others in such Case offending & Contrary to y^e.
Peace of y^e said Lord Prop^ry that now is his good Rule and government and
against y^e. form of y^e. Act of Assembly in such Case Lately made & Provided
& so forth    And Whereupon the same Att^y. of y^e same Lord Prop^ry for y^e.
Lord Prop^ry Prays advice of the Court here in the Premisses and that due Process
of Law may in this Part be made against the said Acquilla to Answer of and
upon y^e. Premisses & so forth
Thereupon it was Commanded y^e. sherriffe of Somerset County that he should take y^e
said Acquilla if &^c to answer &^c.
And now to wit at A Court of his Lordship held at Princes Ann Town y^e third Tuesday
of November Anno Dom. one thousand seven hundred and sixty before y^e. Justices
thereof Came y^e. af^d. Acquilla Snelling in his Proper person according to Certain
Recognizance by him in that Part before Acknowledged and had a hearing
of the Indictment af^d. saith that he Cannot deny but that he is guilty of y^e.
Premisses in y^e. Information af^d. above upon him Imposed in manner & form as
by y^e. Information af^d. above ag^t. him supposed
Whereupon all and singular y^e. Premisses being seen and by y^e. Court here fully understood
it is Considered by y^e. Court here that y^e. af^d. Acquilla Snilling for y^e. Premisses and offence
