You Charles Riggen Teague Riggen & James Riggen do Confess Judgement to Isaac Moor
for twenty two Pounds ten shillings Current money & two hundred and seven Pounds
of Tobacco which sum was Recovered by ye. said Isaac Moor against Charles Riggen on
the twentieth day of November Last in the County Court ye. said Twenty two Pounds ten
shillings Current money and two hundred and seven Pounds of Tobacco to be levied of
Your Bodies Goods or Chattles Lands or Tenements for ye. use of ye. said Isaac Moor ye. said
twenty two Pounds ten shillings & two hundred and seven Pounds of Tobacco so as afd.
Recovered against him with ye additional Costs thereon on ye. tenth day of February next
Taken before us    the 20th. Day of November 1760

Elizabeth Luke    who for ye. same Lord Propry in this part Proscutted Doth Come
here into County Court of ye. same Lord Propry Held for Somerset County to wit
at Princes Ann Town in ye same County the         Day of              in ye. Year of
of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and         Before Isaac Handy Esqr.
and his Associates ye. said Lord Propry his Justices of ye. same County Court and
for ye. same Lord Propry doth give the same Justices here to understand and
be Informed that Elizabeth Luke Late of Somerset Parish in ye. said
County of Somerset spinster ye         Day of         In ye. Year of our Lord
one thousand seven hundred and         at ye. Parish afd. in ye County afd.
did Commit Fornication with a Certain Person unknown and did permit
the same unknown Person Person to have Carnal Knowledge of her Body and
a Bastard Child on ye. Body of her ye. said Elizabeth then & there to Beget to
the High Displeasure of Almighty God to ye. Evil Example of all others in
such Case offending Contrary to ye. Peace of ye. said Lord Propry that now
is his good Rule and government and against ye. form of ye. Act of Assem:
:bly in such Case made and Provided and so forth and whereupon
the same Attorney of ye. same Lord Propry for ye. Lord Propry Prays advice
of the Court here in ye. Premisses and that due Process of Law may in this Part be
made against ye afd. Elizabeth to Answer of and upon ye Premisses and so forth
Thereupon it was Comd. ye. sherriffe of Somt. County that he should take ye. sd. Elizth. if &c. to answer &c
And now to wit at a Court of his Lordship held at Princes Ann Town ye. third
Tuesday of November Anno Dom. one thousand seven hundred and sixty
before ye. Justices thereof Came ye. afd. Elizabeth Luke according to A
Certain Recognizance by her in that part before acknowledged and had
a hearing of ye Indit afd. saith that she Cannot deny but that she is
guilty of ye Premisses in ye Information afd. above upon her imposed in
