March Court 1760 5 Town this Instant March to Answer unto his Lordship of And Concerning the Indt. afd. And Afterwards in the Same Court Came the afd. Edward Husk in his proper person & had a hearing of the Indictment afd. Saith that he will not Contend with his said Lordship but for the saving Costs Labour & Expences About the premisses Submits himself at fine with his said said Lordship by Occasion of the premisses and puts himself upon the favour of the Court Whereupon all and singular the premisses being seen and by the Court here fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that the afd. Edward Husk for the premisses & offence afd. in the Indictment afd. Above specified be taken &c. Which said Edward Husk present here in Court as afd. is fined for the premisses & offence afd. the Sum of fifteen shillings Current money which he paid here in Court to the sherriffe of the County afd. for the use of his said Lordship &c
day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & Sixty with force And Arms at the parish afd. in the County afd. in and upon A Certain John Covington in the peace of God & the said propry then & there being an Assault did make and him the said John Covington then & there did beat wound and Evilly treat so that of his Life it was much dispaired & other Harms to the said John Covington then & there did to the great Damage of the Said John Covington & against the peace of his Lordship the right Honrble the Lord propry that now is his good rule & government &c.
On the Back of the foregoing Bill of Indictment it was there Endors'd Vizt.
