Court and for the Same Lord Propry doth give the Same Justices here to understand and
be Informed that Elizabeth Parr Late of Stepney Parish in the said County of Somerset
Spinster the Eighteenth day of September in ye. Year of our Lord God one thousand
Seven hundred and fifty nine at ye. Parish afd. in ye. County afd. did Commit
Fornication with a Certain Person unknown and did Permit ye. Same unknown
Person to have Carnal Knowledge of her Body and a Bastard Child on ye. Body of her
the said Elizabeth then & there to Beget to ye. High Displeasure of Almighty God
to ye. Evil Example of all others in Such Case offending Contrary to ye. Peace of ye.
Said Lord Propry that now is his good rule & government and against ye. form
of the Act of Assembly in Such Case made and Provided and so forth And whereupon
the same Attorney of ye. same Lord Propry for ye. Lord Propry prays advice of ye. Court
here in ye Premisses and that due Process of Law may in this part be made against
the said             to answer of and upon ye. Premisses and so forth
Thereupon it was Commanded ye. sherriffe of Somerset County that Immediately he should
take ye. said Elizabeth Parr if &c. to answer &c.
And now to wit at a Court of his Lordship held at Princes Ann Town ye. third Tuesday
of November Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred & Sixty before ye. Justices thereof
Came ye afd. Elizabeth Parr in her Proper person & had a hearing of ye Information afd.
Saith that she Cannot deny but that she is guilty of ye. Premisses in ye. Information
afd. above upon her Imposed in manner & form as by ye Information afd. above
against her supposed & maketh oath that Jacob Crouch is ye. father of ye. Child she
                                      is
stands Informed against and ^ willing to pay her fine for ye. same &c.
Whereupon all and singular ye. Premisses being seen & by ye. Court fully under:
:stood it is Considered by ye. Court here that the afd. Elizabeth Parr for ye.
Premisses & offence aforesaid in ye. Information afd. above specified be ta:
:ken &c.
         Which said Elizabeth Parr present here in Court as afd. is fined for
The Premisses & Offence afd. ye. sum of Thirty Shillings Current money of
Maryland which she paid here in Court to ye use of ye County &c.
      Whereupon a certain Nicholas Reddish Present here in Court in his proper
person undertook for ye. said Elizabeth Parr to pay ye. severall officers their fees
due by means of ye Prosecution aforesaid &c

His Lordship    Somerset to wit The Jurors for ye Right Honrble ye. Lord Propry
vs    that now is for ye. Body of Somerset County upon their
Young B. McGloughlin    Oath Present that Young Bailey McGlaughlin Late of
Stepney Parish in ye. said County of Somerset House Carpenter ye. thirteenth
Day of January in ye Year of our Lord one thousand seven Hundred and sixty
at ye. Parish afd. in ye. County afd. did Commit Fornication with a Certain
Elizabeth Maddux and a Bastard Child on ye. Body of her ye. said Elizabeth
