His Lordship    Somerset fst the Jurors for his Lordship ye. Right Honrble ye.
vs    Lord Propry that is now is for ye. Body of Somerset County afd.
Mary Martain    on their Oath present that Mary Martin Late of ye. Parish
of Stepney in ye. County afd. Spinster on ye. first day of November Anno
Dom. MDCCLX at ye. Parish afd in ye. County afd. with force and Arms in
And upon a cartain Rebecca Martin in ye. Peace of God & ye said Lord
Propry then & there being an Assault did make & her ye. said Rebecca then &
there did beat wound & Evilly treat so that of her Life it was much Disp:
aired & other harms to her ye. said Rebecca then & there did to ye. great Damage
of her ye said Rebecca & against ye. Peace of his Lordship ye. right Honrble
ye Lord Propry that now is his good rule & government &c.
Thereupon it was Commanded ye. sherriffe of Somerset County that Immediately he
should take ye. said Mary Martin if &c. to answer &c
And now to wit at a Court of his Lordship held at Princes Ann Town this Instant
November before ye. Justices thereof Came ye. afd. Mary Martin in her proper
person According to a Certain recognizance by her & her Sery in that Part
first acknowledged & had a hearing of ye> Indictment afd. Saith that She will
not Contend with his said Lordship but for ye. Saveing Costs Labour and
Expences about ye. Premisses Submitts her Self at fine with his said
Lordship by occasion of ye. Premisses & puts herself upon favour of ye.
Court
           Whereupon all & Singular ye. Premisses being Seen & by ye. Court
here fully understood it is Considered by ye Court here that ye. afd. Mary
Martin for ye Premisses & offence afd. in ye. Indictent afd. above specified
be taken &c.

Which said Mary Martin present here in Court ^ afd. is fined for ye. Premisses
and offence afd. ye Sum of Fifteen shillings Current money of Maryland
which she paid here in Court to ye. sherriffe of ye. County afd. for ye. use of his
Said Lordship &c.
Whereupon a Certain John Godard Present here in Court in his proper person
undertook for ye. said Mary Martin to pay ye. severall officers their fees due by
means of ye. Prosecution afd. &c.

His Lordship    Somerset to wit Be it Remembred that William Hayward gent.
vs    Attorney of ye. Right Honble ye Lord Propry that now is his good
Elizth. Parr    who for ye. same Lord Propry in this Part Prosecuteth doth Come here into
the County Court of ye. Same Lord Propry held for Somerset County to wit at
Princes Ann Town in the Same County ye. Eighteenth day of Novr. in ye. Year of our
Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Before Isaac Handy Esqr. and
others his Associates ye. said Lord Propry his Justices of ye. same County
