Whereupon all and Singular ye. Premisses being Seen and by the Court here fully
understood it is Considered by the Court here that the afd. Alce Griffen for the
Premisses & offence afd. in ye. Information afd. above Specified be taken &c.
Which said Alce Griffen present here in Court as afd. is fined for ye. Premisses
& offence afd. thirty Shillings Current money of Maryland which she paid here in
Court to ye. use of ye. County &c.
Thereupon a Certain Littleton Dennis of Somerset County gentlemen Present
here in Court in his proper person undertook for ye. said Alce Griffen to pay
the severall officers their fees due by means of ye. Prosecution afd.       &c

His Lordship    Somerset fst The Jurors for his Lordship ye. Right Honrble the Lord
vs    Propry that now is for ye. Body of Somerset County afd. on their
Rachel Martin    Oath present that Rachel Martin Late of the Parish of Stepney
in the County afd. Spinster on the first day of November Anno Dom. MDCCLX
at the Parish afd. in the County afd. with force and Arms in and upon a Cart:
:ain Rebecca Martin in ye. Peace of God and ye. said Lord and Propry then and
there being an Assault did make & her ye. said Rebecca did Beat wound
and Evilly Treat so that of her Life it was much Dispaired and other harms
to her the said Rebecca Martin then and there did to the great Damage of her ye.
Said Rachell & against ye. Peace of his Lordship ye. Right Honrble ye. Lord
Propry that now is his good rule & government &c.
Thereupon it was Command ye. sherriffe of Somerset County that Immediately he
should take the said Rachell Martin if &c. to answer &c.
And afterwards in the Same Court Came ye. afd. Rachell Martin in her proper
Person according to a certain recognizance by her in that part before acknowledged
& had a hearing of ye. Indictment afd. saith that she will not Contend with his said
Lordship but for ye. saveing Costs Labour & Expences about ye. Premisses submitts
herself at fine with his said Lordship by Occasion of ye. Premisses and puts
                 the
herself upon ^ favour of ye. Court
Whereupon all and singular the Premisses being seen & by ye. Court here fully
understood it is Considered by ye. Court here that ye. afd. Rachell Martin for the
Premisses and offence afd. in ye. Indictment afd. above specified be taken &c
Which said Rachell Martin Present here in Court as afd. is fined for ye Premisses and
offence afd. the sum of ten shillings Current money which she paid here in Court
to the sherriff of ye. County afd. for ye. use of his said Lordship &c
Thereupon a certain Joseph Hitch Present here in Court in his proper person
undertook for ye. said Rachell Martin to pay ye. severall officers their fees due
by means of ye Prosecution afd. &c
