William Coulbourn    William Coulbourn of Somerset County Inholder Came
   Lycence to    here into Court in his Proper person and prays that he may be
keep Tavern    permitted to keep an ordinary or house of Entertainment in

   the County aforesaid at his own house for the use and Conveniency
of Travellers and Strangers as to them Respectively Shall Seem meet which is by the
Court hereunto him granted he giveing Sery as the Law Directs to keep good Rules
and orders in his ordinary or house of Entertainment as aforesaid &c.
Whereupon the Said William Coulbourn together with Isaac Coulbourn and
Lazarus Lankford of Somerset County gentlemen his Serys all present here in
Court in their Proper Persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship
the Right Honrble the Lord Propry of the province of Maryland in thirty Pounds
Current money of said Province of their Bodies Goods or Chattles Lands and Tenements
Joyntly and Severally to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be
made & Levied if it happen that the said William Coulbourn do not keep good Rules
                                                                Persons
and orders & do suffer Idle Loose and Disorderly ^ to Tipple game and Commit
Disorders or other Irregularities in his ordinary or house of Entertainment
Contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the Act of Assembly in such Case
Made and provided &c.

Samuel Tull    Samuel Tull an orphan of his own free Consent is bound out by
Bound to    the Court here an apprentice According to Act of Assembly in such
Thomas Tull                              (of Somerset County house Carpinter

                                                      the Said Samuel should

   Case Provided unto Thomas Tull Junr. ^ untill he ^ arrive at ye. Age of Twenty
One Years the said Samuel Tull to Serve his said Master the full term aforesaid
during which term the said Apprentice his said Master well and faithfully he
Shall Serve his Secrets keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly every
Where willingly he shall doe and in all things as a good and faithfull apprentice he
Shall Demean himself towards his said Master and all his during the term afd. in
Consideration of Which service the said Thomas Tull present here in Court in his
proper person Convenanteth with ye. Justices of the same Court in Court Judicially
Sitting in manner and form following that is to Say that he the Said Thomas
Tull shall and will during the term aforesaid Learn his said apprentice the trade of
a House Carpenter and Joyner & to Read Write and Cypher as far as the Rule of three Inclu:
:sive And at the Expiration of his Servitude give him a new Suit of Cloaths over and
above his Common wearing Cloaths and likewise find and provide for his said
Apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing sufficient for such an
apprentice to have and wear during ye. term afd.
Whereupon the Said Thomas Tull is ordered to give Sery for to Comply with the
Covenants Aforesaid Thereupon the said Thomas Tull together with Wm. Tull
and Charles Hall of Somerset County gentlemen his Serys all present
here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged them Selves indebted unto
the aforesaid Samuell Tull in thirty Pounds Current money of Maryland on their
Bodies Goods or Chattles Lands and Tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use
of the said Samuell Tull his heirs and Assigns to be made and Levied if it
happen that the said Thomas Tull do not during the term afd. Learn his said
Apprentice the trade of a house Carpenter & Joyner & to Read Write and Cypher
as far as ye. Rule of three Inclusive & at ye. Expiration of his Servitude do not give
him a new Suit of Cloaths over and above his Common wearing Cloaths and do
not Likewise find & provide for his said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging
& Cloathing sufficient for such an apprentice to have & wear during ye. term afd. &c
