Near the Westermost Side of Ease Creek This Deponant further saith that at sundry other
Times Since ye Said Randalph Long told this deponant that the Said White Oak
Was a Bounder that John Kirk had Marked for John Kellums Land and that
John Gunby had told the said Randalph Long the same & this Deponant further
Sayth that Dirt Bridge John White Late of Somerset County Deceased told this
Deponant Words to the same purpose of and Concerning the afd. White Oak & further
this Deponant sayeth not
Somerset County to wit The Deposition of Thomas Marshall Above said being sworn
On the Holy Evanglist of Almighty God Deposeth as follows that about thirty
years ago the above said Randolph Long told this Deponant that a pine Stump
Was A Bounder of John Killums Land & That John Gunby had proved the said pine
to be a Bounder of John Kirks Land and likewise John Killums Land and shewed
This Deponant the afd. pine stump which said stump stood about south
from the south East End of a Cow bridge Called Scotts Cow bridge & About Eighty
                                                                         Landing
Yards from the same and for a Hammock Called Scotts ^ Hammock and further this
Deponant sayth not

His Lordship
vs    Wee of the Grand Jury for the Body of Somerset do present William
Wm. Wheatly    Wheatly for stoping up the passage along the County Road Leading
dwom Little Annamissex Neck                                           Thomas Jones Foreman
      Test. Wm. Roach
Thereupon it is Commanded the Sherriffe of Somerset County that he Should take the said Wm.
Wheatley if he should be found in his Bailywick & him should safe keep so that he might have
his Body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Princes
Ann Town the third Tuesday of March Anno Dom. one thousand seven hundred & sixty
to Answer unto his Lordship of & Concerning the presentment afd.
Att which said third Tuesday of March & Year afd. came the afd. Wm. Wheatley in his proper
person & had hearing of the presentment afd. & Saith that he cannot deny but that he is
guilty of the premisses in ye presentment afd. Above upon him Imposed in manner
And form as by the presentment afd. Above agt. him Supposed
Whereupon all and singular the premisses being seen and by the Court fully understood
by the Court here that the afd. Wm. Wheatley for the premisses and offence afd. in manner
the presentment afd. Above specified & be taken &c.
Which said Wm. present here in Court as afd. is fined for the premisses & offence afd.
Ten shillillings Current money of Maryland which he paid to the sherriffe of the County
for the use of His Lordship &c

His Lordship    Somerset to wit The Jurors for his Lordship the Right Honrble
vs    the Lord propry that now is for the Body of Somerset
Wm. Cammell County
