His Lordship	Somerset to wit the Jurors for his Lordship y^e. Right Hon^rble y^e. Lord Prop^ry
v^s	that now is for y^e. Body of Somerset County upon their Oath Present that
W^m. Hath	W^m Heath Late of Somerset Parish in y^e. County af^d. Planter on y^e.

XXV day of May in y^e. Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred & Sixty with force and
Arms at y^e. Parish in y^e. County aforesaid in and upon A Certain William Pollit in y^e.
Peace of God & y^e. said Lord Prop^ry then and there being an Assault did make and him
the said W^m. Pollit then & there did beat wound and evilly Treat so that of his Life it
Was much Dispaired and other harms to the said William Pollit then and there did to
the great Damage of y^e. said W^m. Pollit and against y^e. Peace of his said Lordship that
Now is his good Rule & government &^c.
Thereupon it was Commanded y^e. Sherriffe of Somerset County that he should take ~~Will^m.~~
y^e. said William Hath if he should be found in his Bailywick & him Should Safe keep
so that he might have his Body before y^e. Justices of his Lordships County Court of Som^t.
to be held at Princes Ann Town y^e> third Tuesday of August Anno Dom. one thousand
seven hundred & Sixty to answer unto his Lordship of and Concerning y^e. Ind^t.
aforesaid
And afterwards in y^e. Same Court Came y^e. af^d. William Heath in his
Proper person and had a hearing of y^e. Indictment af^d. Saith that he will not Contend
with his said Lordship but for y^e. saving Cost Labour & Expence about y^e> Premisses
Submits himself at fine with his said Lordship by Occasion of y^e. Premisses and puts
himself upon favour of ~~with~~ the Court
Whereupon all and singular y^e. Premisses being seen and by y^e. Court here fully understood
it is Considered by y^e. Court here that y^e. af^d. W^m. Heath for y^e. Premisses & offence af^d. in y^e.
Indictment af^d. above specified &^c.
Which said W^m. Heath present here in Court as af^d. is fined for y^e. Premisses and offence
af^d. the sum of ten shillings Current money which he paid here in Court to y^e. of y^e. County
af^d. for y^e. use of his said Lordship &^c.

Certain Molatto Woman Names Early Wright for Bearing a Bastard Child of her
Body she Liveing in Stepney Parish
John Richardson Informer W^m. Miles Foreman
Thereupon it is Commanded y^e. Sherriffe of Somerset County that he Should take
Early Wright if she should be found in his Bailywick & her Should Safe keep so that he
might have her Body before y^e. Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset
to be held at Princes Ann Town y^e. third Tuesday of August Anno Dom. one thousand
seven hundred & Sixty to answer unto his Lordship of and Concerning A Certain
Presentment ag^t. her found for fornication &^c
