Bounder Stood we discribe the place where the gum Stands to be about two hun:
:dred & Sixteen yards to the Southward of Wm. Sassors Dwelling House & further
saith not                                                           George Waller
Somt. County fst Be it Remembered that we the Subscribers Commissioners in the
within Writt mentioned having bin duly Quallified & Sworn & after Legall notice
given according to the directions of An Act of Assembly in such Case made &
provided in pirsuance to the within Commission & ye. Power & Authority to us
hereby given did on ye 24th of Janry & ye 20th of Fby 1756 meet on ye. afd. Tract
of Land in ye. within Commission mentioned & did take the severall Depositions
which are hereto annexed in Testimony Whereof ye. afd. Commissioners have
hereto Set our hands & Seals this 20th day of March Anno Dom. 1760

John Kellum    Somerset fst Frederick Absolute Lord & propry of the provinces
Commission    of Maryland & Avalon Lord Barron of Baltimore &c. To Samuel Addams
Sampson Wheatley, Josephas Bell & John Williams Annx. of Somerset County Gent. Greeting
Know ye that we have appointed you or any three or two of you to be our Commissioners
to Examine Evidences on behalf of a Certain John Kellum of Somerset County in
Relation to the Bounds of three Tracts of Land following Dickersons Folly, Chance &
                                                            which       Bounds of the
Recovery or the Bounds of Any other Lands on ^ the ^ afd Land Depend we therefore Require
you or any three or two of you at Some time and place as to you or any three or two of you
it shall seem Convenient you meet on the afd. Land Called Dickersons Folly, Chance
and Recovery or the Bounds of Any other Lands on which the afd. Lands may depend
you first having taken your Oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God
And their Cause to Come before you any three or two of you all such Evidences
As shall be to you or any three or two of you Nominated by the said Complainant
or Deft. & that you or any three or two of you Examine them upon their Corporal
Oaths to be by you or any three or two of you Administred on the Holy Evangles of
Almight God in the presence of the Complainant or Deft. if Any Touching the
truth or Remembrance of their Knowledge or any thing that may Relate to the
Caus afd. and that Reducing the severall Depositions into writing you Send the
same with this Our Commission under your or any three or two of your Hands &
seals to us to our County Court of Somerset with all Convenient speed witness
Sampson Wheatly Esqr. one of our justices of our said Court the 24th day of Novr. in
the 8th year of our Dominion & Anno Dom. 1758
Att A Court of his Lordship held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of March Anno
Dom. One thousand seven hundred and sixty before the justices thereof Came Saml. Adams
& Josephas Bell two of the Gent nominated in the Within Commission And Returned
the same Indorsed in manner following
January ye 22 1759 Then came Josephas Bell and was Quallified to Execute the within
Commission Agreeble to An Act of Assembly of Maryland in Such Case lately made &
provided                                                                    before me       S Wheatly
Febry 6 1759 Then was Samll. Adams Qualified to Execute the within Commission
Agreeable to Act of Assembly before                         Jno. Jones
