that Jno. Hall James Polk and Jos: Polk about forty years agoe shewed him this Deponant
a pine tree marked with Sixteen Notches Standing at the head of Little Creek & told him
it was a Bounder of Jno. Panters Land ye. tree being decayed and gon this Deponan[t]
shewed a pine Stump where he Says the Tree Stood about fifteen yards to the South Eas[t]
of the pine Stump mentioned in John Lawes Deposition & further Saith not

Febry 20th 1756 George Wallace of Dorchester County Aged Thirty Six
years or thereabouts being Sworn on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God Deposeth as
follows that about ten or Eleven years past this Deponant was told by his uncle Robt.
Lawes when he Shewed me & some others in Company the first Bounder of Something
Worth he said that the Second Bounder of Something Worth stood over the road or
by the Bridge I cant tell which but being Shewed a Bounder that Stood near the
Road & Bridge at ye. head of Little Creek I Believe it to be the Same place mentd.

Febry 20th 1756 George Wallace of Dorchester County Aged thirty Six years or there
                                                                             deposeth
:abouts being Sworn on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God ^ as follows that about
ten or Eleven years past he this Deponant & severall others in Company with his
Uncle Robt. Lawes who shewed him this Deponant this White Oak that we are at & in
View tho down now & much Burnt, but then a marked Tree was the first bounder
of Little Worth & further saith not    We the Commissioners Discribe the Bounder
to Stand on a point of Woods by the marsh side about one hundred & fifty yards to
an Oyster shell bank in ye. Marsh where there Stands a Cedar Tree it being near
in a Line from Mr. Edwd. Roberts's Dwelling house where there is now fixed a
Marked Lightwood post with sixteen Notches in the very Stump where the afd.

Jary 24th 1756 Thos. Wallace of Somt. County aged Thirty Eight years or there abouts
being Sworn on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God Deposeth as follows
that about Twenty years agoe this Deponant Says that he has heard Severall
of Alice Sassor's family Say that a pine then Standing a green florishing Tree
was a Corner Tree & further saith not we discribe the place where the tree Stood to
be about seventy five yds. North North East from the Dwelling house of Wm. Sassors
& standing by the Edge of a Ditch                           Thomas Wallace
Febry 20th 1756 George Waller of Worchester County agreed fifty two years or there
about being Sworn on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God Deposeth as foll:
:ows that Robt. Lawes shewed him this Deponant a Bounder & Told him it was
a Bounder of Something worth & a Bounder of Little worth the afd. bounder
then a Dead Tree & at that time there was Some of the Marks in the afd. Bounder
but now the Marks or Notches Burnt out of View & further Saith not we Discribe
the Bounder to stand on the same Place mentioned in Geo: Wallace Deposition
where there is now fixed a Lightwood post with sixteen Notches in ye. very Stump where
the old tree Stood                                            George Waller

that about Sixteen or Seventeen years past Jno. Hall & Robt. Lawes Shewed him this
Deponant a place where there Stood a Bounder of Wm. Sassors Land there being then
a small white gum marked near the place where the bounder Stood it being the same
Place Discribed in Tho. Wallace Deposition & where there is now fixed a marked
Lightwood post with Sixteen notches & this Deponant further Saith that ye. afd. Robt.
Lawes & Jno. Hall shewed him this Deponant Another Bounder of Wm. Sassors Land
where there was then a marked gum Standing whare the place where the
